Postcard perfect Dan, just like always.
I don't know how you do it. The colors in your pictures are so vivid(the GF rooftops against the blue skies are gorgeous--are you sure you don't tweak the color?)
Micca, I do, at a minimum, resize and compress every picture, from, in the 300K range, to around 100K, and from 1024 X 768 to 640 X 480, and a very rare crop, but seldom. I most often will also use a contrast correction (using MS's Digital Image Pro or Adobe's Photo Album for all the above) on the pictures. The contrast correction has the general effect, very similar to looking through polarized sunglasses or using a polarized filter on the camera. I do always use polarized sunglasses and do use a UV filter (mostly for lens protection)(I do have a polarized filter too, but rarely use it, unless doing a lot of water) on the camera, so with the contrast correction, I get a net effect of looking through my glasses, and yes, that is generally more vivid, as the reflective effects of things like air pollution, among other things, are removed. Short answer long, LOL, yes, but close to what I see.

I can hardly wait till tomorrow to share this w/ my DD. We are leaving in a month for WDW and this will be her 4th trip to The World.
The monorail is very special to us because it is tradition on our trips to take a final monorail ride every night before I put DD to bed. I get her ready for bed, pajamas and all, and we get on the monorail and take a relaxing ride around the Seven Seas Lagoon. We always go in Sept, so at 9:30-10:00 at night, we generally always have a car to ourselves.
Thanks for a great thread and I will be visiting it again tomorrow
(Underlining my addition for emphasis)
Only at Disney. That too sounds so magical, could be one of those touchy/feely commercials that gives many of us a tear now and then. THAT is neat!!!
And so nice to read you enjoy these, and show them to the kids and they too enjoy. Gives me a smile here.
