Hi,
We'll be taking the DME to the Wilderness Lodge then renting from National the next AM.
Which pick up location is more convenient to the WL? And how would we get there?
Thanks!

I think you can rent a car from the Swan and Dolphin. That might be easiest for you. You can take Disney transportation over to Epcot, then walk to the Swan or take the ferry. You can also rent a car from DTD. That might be even easier since you can just take a direct bus from your hotel right to DTD. Check out this link. Lots of good info on renting a car.

Disney transportation to EPCOT takes you to the main entrance. To get to the Dolphin (where the National/Alamo desk is located), you would have to walk through the park which requires the park to be open and use of a day of park admission.

Take the bus to DHS instead and then either walk to the Dolphin or take a boat.

Another option is too arrange with National or Alamo to get picked up in their complimentary shuttle.

My advice is to see which (CCC or Dolphin location) is less expensive (they may be the same) and then decide. THh Car Care Center would definitely require a ride - no way to get there on foot or by using Disney transportation. Busing to DHS and then walking would allow you to pick up the care fairly early.

If you use the Car Care Center Location they will come pick you up but their fees are most times higher. We find the Location at BV Palace the easier you just take the bus to DTD & walk across the street the the hotel. Just check the rates at each location.

Good point. I forgot about that. We always have park hopper tickets so I don't even usually think about it. Definitely better off going to DHS and walking or taking the boat to the Dolphin.

In my experience, that's not always the case. Check the rates for your time period. If they're the same or close to other locations, the free pickup/dropoff makes the logistics much easier. Also, the Disney Car Care Center is the closest National/Alamo location to WL.

Just checked and rates are exactly the same for CCC and Dolphin during my time period. (last week in July).
Free shuttle to CCC looks like the way to go!
Thanks!

We called in the morning before going to breakfast I think they say an hour lead time, so you might want to call the center directly before you go so you know for sure.

Have a great trip

Also, each of the DTD hotels has a different car rental company, and each will pick you up at your hotel, and return you there.
