Which handicapped parking is closer, AAA or regular handicapped parking?

Which handicapped parking is closer to the parks AAA or the regulara handicapped parking? Some people will have scooters and some won't. Thanks Lene

Are you going to all the parks? You might want to ask this on the Disabilities board here on the DIS.

I think I can answer your question for three of the parks as we used AAA parking this past October. Handicapped was one lot closer to the park than AAA at MK. At MGM, for AAA parking, we were directed to the handicapped lot, so they're the same spot. I believe at Epcot it was the same situation, I didn't notice for sure if we were in the same lot as handicapped, but I believe we were.

Didn't see the spots at AK.

The handicapped would be closer.
You do need a state issued (by your home state) handicapped parking permit to park there. I know the AAA permits have black out dates for busy times - not sure if the black outs are for all parks, or just MK.
