Which Epcot country would you add?

I think Australia would be a great addition to World Showcase!

Oh sure, Pat Elliott has to one-up me with an actual link! ;)

I'm sorry...my mother brought me up wrong....

Don't mind me...I'm just upset that no one else is voting for India! :p

Before I read this I wondered if anyone wanted the same country I did. ( No one did. )
I have been to New Zealand and it is gorgeous. There is nothing else in either world to compare. It has rich heritage (Maoris) and fascinating food. It is very south polynesian like with just the right blend austrailia/british and american indian.

Not to offend anyone but I have travelled the world and so many places are so similar other than the currency and the accent.

None of the countries there now are even similar to New Zealand. Not the food, not the merchandise and not the culture.

whew !!!

I did a poll on this questions many month ago and was surprised to see that Australia won handily. It's a fine idea, I just hadn't anticipated that it was so popular.

Personally I think Europe already has more than adequate representation. I prefer India because I'd also like to have an Indian restaurant at WDW. Also it is an exotic culture, and there are many exciting possibilities for the pavilion, such as a scale model of the Taj Mahal, a Hindu temple, etc. Maybe Siddhartha speaking in the marketplace!

If not India, then Brazil or Egypt would also be good for the diversity of culture.

Australia would also be fine, though I'm less excited about an Australian restaurant. (There is already one at the Wyndham Hotel.) The "British Empire" is already well represented by UK and Canada (and America!). Where I would really like to see "Australia" is as an additional "land" at Animal Kingdom!

Yay! A fellow India supporter! I thought I was alone here. :teeth:

My vote would be for any of the following:

Australia, Greece, Egypt (I'm thinking of Pyramids & Sphynx, and possibly an Indiana Jones thrill ride) & a South American country like Argentina or Peru.

Wow---graat ideas! I think Egypt would be an awesome addition too; although Australia grabs me as well. India has some presence over at the AK, but would also be a good addition.

yeah i think spain too, that would be cool, but i can think of soo many that i wouold love to see so i guess i dont really care

Ancient Egypt, Russia or India--preferably all three! So many possibilities with each.

Portugal and Greece. Of course, both would need full service, sit-down restaurants with incredible food!

Greece, the founders of modern civilization. I couldn't think of a more interesting pavilion. Plus their food and customs are quite unique. I've had many a good times at Greek Tavernas over the years. They really have a strong zest for life.

Allow me to put in my vote for India as well. Wonderful food, and there could be a sari shop, and cultural exhibits..

Egypt also sounds good, but I haven't seen a vote for Thailand. If we're just voting based on food, Thai should be on the list.
