where to begin on EMH day

I read that BTMR and SPlash M. arent on the list of attractions for rides open on EMH at MK so what is the best plan on where to start. Do you usually go back to Fantasy Land and start there?
We've never stayed onsite before but will be this December and want to have the best plan.

I'd say that depends on who you are traveling with.

If you have young children then, by all means, do Fantasyland first. It gets so crowded later in the day and this way you can do most of the attractions before any major lines form.

No little ones? Then head to Tomorrowland and ride Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear.

Since my DD's 16 and DN is 11, we usually head for Space Mountain and work our way to Fantasyland.
