Where is everyone?

I've been away from home a lot since Thanksgiving. Now that I am back for awhile , I don't see many posts from some of the ladies who have been around here over the last several months, years. I know in the last month or so some "issues" have arisen with the board, but I don't see a lot of the old familiar names. Hopefully everyone is ok & it is just the holidays ...

I noticed a decline in the number of new posts over here recently. I suppose everyone is just busy with holiday preparations. I'm sure we will see a surge is posts come January! ...................P

If they're anything like me, they're all running about making a zillion lists of things that just MUST be done before Christmas (or in our case, before the weekend as we're going away for most of next week) which we know full well will never actually be done. I'm actually going to be in town shopping at 9am tomorrow morning, I'm not normally even up at that hour on a non-work day!!!!

I'm here (most times, early in the morning) And working! And getting ready for the holidays! Do you realize there are only (counting today) 10 more days till Christmas?????? And, I still have sooooo much baking and candy-making to do! Buckeyes, fudge, and chocolate covered pretzels this weekend, with the grandkids. Should be fun.

Some of us really do appreciate a warmer & fuzzier place ! I know it is more than just the holidays & busy schedules ... a lot has changed on the DIS over the last few months ... oh well ... it was fun while it lasted ...
