Does Hertz have new AI scanners at MCO??

Here is an article I found about it. Seems like yet another way to automatically charge people for something and then the burden is on you to dispute the bogus charge..........no thanks. AI seems to be the latest IT buzzword for anything running a computer program. I have never washed any rental cars I used and wonder if this amazing new system can tell the difference between dirt/road grime (or rain) and actual vehicle damage???...............probably not..............LOL.

With every other brand of rental car company I have ever used there has always been an attendant in the return area with one of those hand-held computer devices checking in the vehicles. Seems that person can just as easily look for obvious damage when you return the car.

I went though my first one in Tampa.

I assume one advantage (for the renter) is it will provide a time stamped photo of the "damage". So you know it didn't happen after turning the car in.
