Where is "Beast"

With all the advise and suggestions I have read and used from this Board, I am going to throw this one question out to all you "other" experts. All my years coming down to Disney, I have always wanted a picture with Beast. I have yet to find him. Other than the stage shows at MGM and Magic Kingdom, Beast does not, to my knowledge, make an outside appearance, has anyone ever, ever seen Beast at Epcot, or anywhere else for that matter. He's listed as making an appearance at Epcot, I know that Belle is always out, but I have never, ever seen Beast there. Okay...let the answers roll. Thank you.

Look for the shop with the stained glass Beauty and the Beast window. Both Beast and Belle make appearances inside the shop. Just ask one of the CMs in the perfume shop and they'll be able to tell you what time he'll be there. And, Belle always comes out first, so don't be disappointed if he's not there at first.

As you can see, I'm obsessed with Beast also. It's my favorite post-Walt movie and I get way more excited than a 27 year old should when I see him.

This is one of my goals this trip. I need a pic with the beast. He is also my favorite. Haven't had the luck of stumbling upon him yet but I also didn't know he was inside the shop. Does anybody remember what the name of the shop is???

...everytime I have visited Epcot - France, I always have the scheduled appearance times, I am there each time they are to appear and I have yet to see Beast ...when I did my solo trip in this past November, I decided to treat myself to lunch and hang out in France just to make sure that I was around for at least 3 scheduled appearances and each time it was only Belle...I will be patient becuase I know that I will see my "prince" someday. Cinderella37, you think you get excited at 27 wait until you become my age..sshhh I am 40 and have no shame...thanks again to all the responses

WE have some terrific pictures with the Beast!! Got them in the little area off to the side of France. The canal runs down the other side. You can either walk up to it directly or access it by going thru the shop. Most of the CMs should be able to tell you when he will show up. Always with Belle.

I got Beast in France outside in Garden area outside of stained Glass Window Shop.

I also seen Beast a few times by the Big Hat at Disney-MGM Studios. Each time he was with Belle. He was making appearances on half-hour intrevals between roughly 11:30 and 2:30. I went to MGM every day on my last trip (7 different days), and I saw him twice that week. So it is hit-or-miss there.

I also seen him in France at Epcot. He was either in the library room next to the gift shop, or in a garden behind the buildings near the water. If you are walking into France from the main Epcot sidewalk, it is on the right. It is hard to see into the library room through the windows, so sometimes it's good to just peek your head in and see if any characters are present!
