I'll tell you a "secret" (hint) Jeff...I've never been inside either. In my opinion, this could be classified as an "art piece" but the crop is not a part of the "art".

The Dora Officer's spent the entire day in the elementary/middle schools today, visiting with each PE class and demonstrating the "physical" moves of dance. They chose to debut their NEW UNIFORMS and I LOVE THEM!

Busy morning...craft show on the Square and attended the grand opening of the School Districts latest expansion. Amazing opportunities for the students now...culinary arts with soon to open cafe operated by the students; woodworking center, film production, art studio and a 4 year program geared toward nursing. Building also includes museum exhibit, BISD timeline dating back over 100 years, store selling merchandise made by students, conference room and offices. They purchased the former Wells Fargo Bank Building and remodeled and it looks amazing! Love seeing the extended programs being offered!

Hate when that happens! Last week all my posts on Disboards were in BOLD print! Clicked on the "B" to disable bold type but nothing happened. Finally, after 3 days, I signed out and signed back in and that fixed that problem. Still having issues with "what I see"; my board area is only half the page...a quarter of the page is advertisement and a quarter totally blank. That's been going on a couple of months! Katie is now an OFFICIAL Life Guard! She passed the weekend training session is got certified this afternoon! She'll be working at a local water park this summer in her "spare time"!

I’ll trade with you. It’s been freezing here and super windy. This weekend was high in the 30s and we got a dusting of snow. This morning it was 21 degrees.

I know you're SO tired of winter but, honestly, I'd trade places with you in a minute! I was sitting with my niece at their booth in downtown last Saturday and she said "this summer is gonna kill me if I'm this miserable already"! It's SO humid (more pending storms beginning Wednesday); we haven't been getting the storms, thank goodness, but the heat and humidity just won't go away! On the plus side, David's garden is growing well but we've been running the air conditioner a MONTH already! Stay warm...21 IS pretty cold yet...and we've had super windy too...that IS a pain! All kind of crap blowing in our yard and garage!
