I'm about a week late checking the flowers out this year; the blooms are already beginning to fade but the fields of blue and red are still so pretty. Since we had a very mild winter they started blooming about 2 weeks earlier than normal. There are some pretty majestic roadsides and pastures especially in Central Texas this year.

Interesting start to the evening...just finished dinner listening to thunder and watching the lightening out of the window and then the HAIL started! At least it didn't last long! Could be a long few days!

I’ll start with the ceiling at Rose and Crown? I know you ate there.

Hail is not good can cause a lot of damage especially to vehicles. Today was chilly in the 30s and rain for
tomorrow. Good news warmer weather coming next week.

David sure was nervous about his truck! It's to big to fit in the garage so has to park in driveway...he was going to try and get at least the front part/windshield in but by the time we cleaned that part of the garage and moved my plants it had stopped! Thank goodness it didn't last long; a few blocks west of us had a LOT...looked like "snow" on the ground! We've had some really close lightening strikes tonight and the thunder is making Boo VERY nervous!

GLAD you have warmer weather coming next week and maybe the RAIN instead of snow means spring IS on the way! Hope you don't get any of the severe spring weather though! We're in the high 50's here with rain. David checked his garden...and truck... and no hail damage but he's "twiddling his thumbs" at work today. The Courthouse got struck by lightening last night and they have no computer or phone service. Repairs have to be done on the tower and workers can't do that since lightening/thunderstorms continue today and tomorrow. Sara had 6 inches of rain last night/we had 3". Not a bit surprised about the lightening strike...sky stayed "lit up" almost all evening and some of that thunder was...WOW! I "jumped" more than once and Boo woke up from a sound sleep a couple times too!
