Well Allie's last day in the UK was a "fun" one! They drove from Scotland to Manchester and checked into the Airport Doubletree. Getting ready for bed and the FIRE ALARM goes off! Allie lugged ALL her luggage down 5 flights of stairs...said she wasn't letting her stuff get burned up on her last day there! All is okay....someone left a coffee pot plugged in and it shorted out! She is SO READY to be home! Like Amanda says, "you can't make this S*** up!"

Was up until 5:30 AM texting with Allie ! She needed distraction from the airport wait to board her plane and "babysitting" her other Grandmother. Poor Jane is so tired (like we ALL were after our visit) she was having a lot of trouble focusing! Finally got the last text "we're taking off" before I went to sleep. The plane is over Ohio now with only 2 1/2 hours to go before landing in Houston. YES...we're excited to have her home just in time for the high school soccer playoff games tomorrow night!

Now she gets a few hours rest and starts her early morning drive to Brownwood for a luncheon seminar...then drives the 4 hours back to drive another hour south to the soccer game tomorrow night! She couldn't wait to get back in her car and she sure is making good use of it on her first day back!
