Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

They bought a Ford Expedition; the last 2017 on the lot (3 people came into the dealership wanting to test drive it while they were closing the deal) and it just happened to be that beautiful FIRE ENGINE RED. :lovestruc I love red cars and hope my next one can be a red one. We bought our first red car (our school color :goodvibes) when DD was a sophomore; they get their first one when Redstorm is a sophomore. :goodvibes We kept ours over 15 years (STILL wish I had that car back :headache:); don't think they'll make that "record". :rotfl: She had a white Expedition before her previous car and couldn't wait to get back into one. She HATED that "downsized car" (don't know what it was but was smaller and I always felt "cramped" in it)...she "transports" so many kids at different times (as in club volleyball and/or soccer team; picks kiddos up from school for a friend who works in Houston) along with sports equipment. That smaller car just wasn't working. :rotfl: :tink:

I thought that was the Expedition. We have an Explorer and I love it. I will never go back to a car I love all the room and the 4 wheel drive it's great in the snow.

Goofys Candy Co?

Today was so cold.:cold::cold: It felt like the coldest day, it wasn't temp wise but with the wind chill it felt like the coldest day. My face hurt so bad walking from the car to the building at the track meet today. The wind just went right through you and froze every bit of you so you couldn't even move. It was -7 this afternoon when we came out of the meet, that was about an hour north of where I live. It wouldn't surprise me if the real feel was -30.:cold::cold::cold::cold:

Steph did really well at her meet today. She made the finals in the 55 dash and finished 4th. She finished 4th in the 300 dash and her relay team finished 2nd.

:faint: WOW! Noticed the wind was awful and if you had -7 the wind chill may have been LOWER than -30! :cold: Get a scarf over your face girlfriend! ::yes:: That little one I had Tuesday was a blessing! I'm surprised your cars are still running! :rotfl:I just can't even imagine! :faint: GREAT on Stephanie's finishes though! :dance3:Good individual effort and sounds like the relay team has "gotten their act together"! OR...the cold weather just made them run faster! :lmao: Soccer team still lost but only 1-2 today so they're "improving". :faint: Redstorm told me she really, really wants to play in this coming weekends tournament that begins on Thursday. She's suppose to have the boot on UNTIL Thursday so mostly likely that's not going to happen. It's going to break her heart if the boot doesn't "work" and ankle feels the same. Since we now have decent weather :goodvibes, she's anxious to get on the field. Tell Stephanie GOOD JOB! :thumbsup2 :tink:

That's entirely possible! :rotfl2: I know NOTHING about cars other than it started with an "E"and the name is small on the hood front. :rotfl: I'll have to ask her...thought I took a picture of the front but guess I didn't. This is a 7 passenger (her previous car was labeled a 6 passenger it was "tight") and I almost need a stepladder to get in :rotfl2:...it's pretty high off the ground. It has great storage area in the back; when they moved there wasn't enough room to lay their TV down...had to put it on the floor in the middle seat. :headache: A 4 wheel drive would be a necessity for you, wouldn't it? :tink:

Festival Center or area around that building? :tink:

Somewhere around Spaceship Earth area? Is it in the fairy topiary area?

This was in the Festival Center. Cute bird houses.

Glad your track meets are inside a building. I cannot even imagine -7 with wind! :faint: I know what you mean about the cold going right through you. We rarely get that cold. Certainly not this year! It's 31 here this morning!! In Jan.!

I see Ed is running his last and longest run this morning! I can't image running that much!

Just checked Facebook and had a PM from Justin who is still in Ghana. He's with his friend, Umar's (we've met and spent time with him at our holiday gatherings) family. Umar's grandfather is a former ambassador to Cambodia. Very nice, intelligent man and he gifted his smock to Justin. His sister is on the left, then older brother (Umar looks exactly like him!), brother's wife, Justin and Grandpa. They've just about completed their work on the water filtration system and have very grateful villagers. They used to have to collect rainwater for drinking or get their water from a pond. The work of Justin's group will give them clean drinking water for the first time ever. :lovestruc
