Up as 6 am to leave for Brahmadora all day competition with Katie; check on Instagram and see pictures from Allie...from the ALPS! She and her friend are spending the weekend in Switzerland!

It's not clothes but it's made of cloth. The scene is not in a bedroom; it's in a room that not many of us have ever used but Katie uses it often.

Has been a LONG day; 12 hours of dance . One of the numbers she was helping with a lift and knocked 3 ribs out! She iced and took Tylenol and continued but it was tough. The Directors "talked her through the pain"! They finally had a break at 12:30 and Sara had found a local chiropractor that would see her. He gave her an adjustment and got them back "in line" but she literally had to run to get on stage in time for her solos! Needless to say, she did awful. She really needed to score well to be able to perform her solos at the Spring Dora show and doesn't look she'll have the scores. She's heartbroken but they haven't received the final numbers so still possible. They still had 3 performances in the afternoon and the group numbers went well; the last one was emotional for the upper classmen knowing it was the last competition number they'd perform with the seniors. They placed in all of them and got "Best Off Show" for the contemporary...the one they wear the blindfolds. The judges gave them their "Favorite of the Day" award for that one also. Good day as a group; sucky one personally for Katie....especially knowing her sister was enjoying the snowy mountains in Switzerland and her Dad was off in Las Vegas for his annual pool tournament!

It was hard for her to continue! That's an ice bag she held to her ribs until they had to take the stage! Couple of pictures I can tell she's hurting; pretty proud of her for not letting the team down and saying she couldn't do it! NICE "hardware" for the day's work and she DID get the scores she needed!

Very little improvement on my part! What about you? It's going to be a LONG spring at the rate we're going. SO much yard work to do and neither one of us can stay out long! Dang cough is so aggravating and we've gone through 2 boxes of tissue since we got back!

Neither one of us can get rid of this! I started using a humidifier a couple nights ago and that has helped with nighttime cough a lot. Had a really good nights sleep last night. Maybe we both need a trip to Florida!
