Where are you staying and why?

BWI Garden Villa: I want to stay there while I can still climb the stairs, sort of a bucket list thing. Also wanted to be close to EPCOT for F&G. Usually stay YC CL.

POFQ. It was process of elimination, really: not willing to pay deluxe prices, values a little too no-frills for us and geared more toward families with small children, the only DVC property with more than one bed for a reasonable cost is at OKC and that doesn't appeal to me.

Which leaves us with the moderates. The only other time I've been to Disney we stayed at CBR so that's out. Wanted CSR but worried about Pop Warner kids while we're there. So it was more or less a coin toss between the 2 Port Orleans. Ultimately went with FQ because of its smaller size.

FYI-we had pop warner kids at Riverside once. invaded the food court.

We will be at the Swan in October. The location is undeniably awesome especially during the Food & Wine Festival, but I am looking forward to how luxurious the place is. I qualify for the board of education discount so it's really a no-brainer for our trip.

AOA Nemo Family Suite over Spring Break. We adore the Polynesian, but it has gotten so expensive what with the DVC being added we just can't stay there every year. We are all hoping we fall in love with AOA. I think we will love the price (haha), the Cars pool area, and the fact that we will have 2 bathrooms. Our kids are all adult sized now and they kinda flop all over the room! Further, I will love having my own room with DH and having a kitchenette for late night sandwich making! My daughter also loved how calming the Nemo suites look. The blue walls and the decor are so peaceful!

We are staying at All star movies for our 1st stay on property. We have stayed off property in the past. We are staying at Movie's so we have more in the budget for spending money :)

For our first trip 5 years ago, we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. We were looking at value resorts at first, but decided on a moderate, and I loved what I saw online. Also, we happened to be traveling during a free dining period, so instead of upgrading to the regular DDP from the QSDP and paying the difference, we went with POR, and paid nothing for the DDP. We were not disappointed with POR! We loved it, and if Disney didn't have so many other great resorts to chose from, we'd definitely stay there again!

For our trip last month (June 2016), we traveled with my sister's family of 4 (youngest is 17 y/o). We are also a family of 4 (youngest is 15 y/o). It was my sister's family's first trip to WDW, and I took on the task of planning everything. They requested a room that had two bathrooms, which is why we needed to look at suites. It was a plus to have a kitchnette too. We chose AoA, mostly because it fit into my budget. My sister's family stayed in the Nemo Suites, while we stayed in the Lion King Suites. I wanted us to experience two different types of rooms.

We enjoyed staying at AoA, although the experience was very different from POR. I would stay at AoA again, if we needed a suite, although we may look into All Star Music's suites, since the price is a little lower. In summary, though, for our next trip, we would like to stay at another resort, just so that we can experience something "different". Depending on the time of year, perhaps even a deluxe resort may fall into our budget. :earsgirl:

POR this trip. We've stayed here belfry and at POFQ. Love both :). Reason we stay here is the theming, the pool and Yehaw Bob.

AKL because when I got the wild hair to go back to Disney this Oct, it was the only resort with military pricing available.

I keep hoping something will open up at Beach Club before we leave since that's my favorite.

We are heading to WDW Nov 11th - 18th and org we were staying at POFQ but while I was there on a solo trip I stopped at the Poly and instantly fell in love with the decor and just everything about the resort. I took pictures of the Main House and sent it to my husband. he called me back in 5 mins and said, " Call when you get back home and Upgrade The hotel!" and well.... I called when I returned home and they gave us Club Level - Lagoon View with concierge service.. So I have a question, has anyone stayed in this level? What are the rooms like and what house are these rooms normally located in? Ive think I have seen every other room on line but noone has had any video of this level LOL..

Many thanks!

We are going back to Yacht Club this year. We went 4 years ago and really enjoyed walking in to 2 parks plus having SAB. We won't be going to Daytona Beach this time so everyone decided we should have SAB available to do some relaxing. I was torn because I also loved staying in CR garden wing and walking in to MK plus I was tempted to go back to AKL again but my DH and DD out voted me.

You should keep checking back, I couldn't get CR garden wing with free dining but one day I found an open room and then my DH and DD said no we want YC :)

AKL is really amazing though if you don't get to stay at BC, that and CR were the two resorts that I debated about staying at again.

For our October trip we went with BWI well because great location for F&W. Our last night we are moving to BLT because it is prefect for our MK day and to enjoy trader Sam's.

We stayed there our last trip and did really enjoy it so I know we will have an awesome trip regardless! But F&W + BC =

Leaving in 55 days for our first time at the Beach Club. I'm super excited since this is our first deluxe resort. So far we've stayed at Pop, All Star Sports, All Star Movies, and Port Orleans Riverside. :)

This is our first trip ever for our family. We choose the Poly because we wanted to be on the monorail loop for MK, walking distance to the TTC, and the new pool looked awesome! We probably won't be back anytime soon, so feel the splurge is worth it. We did almost pick FQ, but we didn't want the extra travel time to the parks with young kids in Aug heat. Especially as we plan to spend every afternoon back at the resort pool. Our kids wouldn't last all day in the parks, or I should say their tempers wouldn't last! :)

Check out Tikiman's website on the Polynesian. He's quite the expert!

Staying at the BWI for food and wine. It was the only Epcot resort I could get with the military discount.

Next trips are probably Oct. and Dec.

We will stay at the Swan.

Its at least $100 a night less than a Disney Deluxe Resort. We dont care about charging, magical express etc.

The rooms and customer service is great compared to the Yacht Club where we stayed in May.

We can use dh ff miles to get some of the nights for free and those night we pay for we not only get more points on our credit card for future stays we also combine that with the hotel loyalty program.

For our September trip, we are staying at VGF for two nights and BWV for 6 nights.

We chose VGF because it's one of my home resorts but we haven't stayed there yet. My mom loves GF, which is one of the reasons I added on when VGF became available. She will have either a rollator (4 wheeled walker) or a wheelchair so being on the monorail is a plus.

We chose BWV because we'll be there during F&WF and will be spending part of each day at Epcot. Having the boat transportation to Epcot and DHS is also a plus. We also like all of the food options on the Boardwalk.

For our next trip, we are staying at CSR - free dining deal. We have stayed at POR and CBR... would love to try them all!
