When is SplashMt. up for major rehab?

We already have ressies for Oct. 2004. I'm really surprised BTMR is closed this year for the entire MNSSHP (maybe just as well considering...). SplashMt is our favorite ride, and I'm afraid that it could be closed next year since I can't remember it being closed for a lengthy rehab.


Does anyone have any ideas when it was closed for a major rehab or could be closed?

I want to get in on this thread, as I am really hoping someone doesn't say January. This is our top two rides (along with BTMRR), but we don't have to worry about that one!

I don't know the rehab schedule, but it was last out for a major rehab in January of 2002. I think it's too soon for any official word on when it will next be rehabbed.

Thanks SnackyStacky. Knowing the last major was January 2002 tells me a couple of things--that it will probably be more than two until another major rehab (later than 2004 hopefully), and that they rehabed it in January. Hopefully, I'm covered for Oct 2004.

For what it's worth, Splash Mountain was under rehab when I was there in September 1999. So that tells you a couple other things:
1. Unless there was another rehab between those times, it was a little under 2.5 years between rehabs.
2. It isn't always in January.

I'm taking my second trip to Disney in September 2004, and hoping I'll get to ride it this time.
