Gunta. It's the female variation of my dad's nickname, which was supposed to be his given name. Family legend has it that his father stopped at every pub between his home and the town hall to celebrate the birth of his new son, and by the time he got to the town hall to register the birth, he was so, er, "happy", he'd forgotten the name, and picked one out of the registry at random. Apparently my grandmother was none too happy about it. But the family always called him by the name he was supposed to have, and that's the name they gave me.
