Just remembered another fun time with a cast member...it actually happened at DLR while on the tram back to the Mickey and Friends parking structure. Another thing to note is that it was after midnight. Here's a few of the antics he did/said:
- "For those of you awake tonight, WELCOME ABOARD THE MICKEY AND FRIENDS TRAM! For those of you asleep, -whispers- welcome aboard the mickey and friends tram."
- We heard a spot on rendition of the safety spiel in both English and Spanish. Mind you, the Spanish version is done by a young female.
Then he threatened to play the regular version.
After each turn, the cast member in the back has to say "Driver your turn is clear" and then the driver usually responds with two honks of the horn. On that night, we heard:
- "Driver, we're clear for lightspeed."
- "Let's take this puppy to 88 miles per hour."
- "Driver, if you're awake, honk twice. If you're asleep, lay on the horn and rest." The horn went a little longer than usual.
- He also reminded us that "The parking lots of the Disneyland Resort have a confusing speed of 14 miles per hour. We're not sure why it's such a random number, but please observe it and yield the right of way to all Disneyland vehicles."
- The cast member began to hum "Rock a Bye Baby".
