We will be in Ft. Wilderness week after next. We have a TT and have stayed in FW only once before. We were in loop 1200 and it was Ok but we did not have a lot of room. We were across the street from the bath house but it was a long walk to the water transportation as the busses were not coming very often on our visit. It was very difficult to back into the sight because of the fence in front of the bath house and no turning room.

We would like to stay closer to the water transportation this time if possible and had looked at the maps and loop 1400 looked good as well as loop 500 and 300. Can someone please let us know if you have stayed on any of these sights and the plus and minuses of the loops or the sights that you like? Thanks for any help that you can give.

:yay:

We like the 1300 loop. We prefer this loop because it is fairly close to the pool and there is a playground at the entrance. I don't like my kids having to cross the road to get to the meadows area. Some of the loops we have a little difficulty getting into, but we always manage.

The buses are not an issue with us because we usually either have a golf cart or we ride our bikes.

We were in Quails Trail in July and that was a nice location but there was no playground for DS to play.

The last 2 times we went we were in 1400. It is a great loop for us because it is close to the campfire program, close to the store and close to the bus. It was a short walk to the boat, but we usually took the bus there and walked back, if we had the energy. I would stay there again.

I stayed at 501,it was close to water, restaurant, store, and the bus pulled up right behind us.It was also easy getting in this site

We camped in the 700 block in feb and liked it because it was close to the boat landing. I would like to stay in that block again in Nov. :cool1:

We stayed in Big Bear, I believe, a year and a half ago. I think it's either 1400 or 1600. It was a preferred loop, but we never even turned on the cable TV LOL. But what was nice about it was the kids could walk by themselves over to the campfire movie, and it was easily walkable to the beach.
