What is wrong with July?

hi everyone,
I have been looking at the park hours for June, July and August 2016, hoping to guess at 2017 opening hours!

I have noticed June and August have MK opening at 8am and closing at midnight before you take EMH into consideration, also the other parks have longer opening hours.

Comparing July it is 9am to 10pm only?
Does anyone know why?
Is this why the parks are considered to be very busy?

I'm not seeing where MK opened at 8 am in June. Easy WDW lists most of the opening times as having been 9 am.

The parks are very busy in July because of the holiday. They are busy all summer because of the schools being out.

Something to keep in mind is that while you can estimate park hours, they are not set in stone. They never are! They can change even during your vacation, so don't get to tied to them.

I'm sure times will change closer to your trip. Crowds are considered busy because it's peak season and most kids are out of school.

I would expect summer 2017 to be busier than 2016.

Park hours were not 9 am to 10 pm in July when we were there. I'm thinking maybe whatever it is you are looking at wasn't updated with new park hours after Disney changed them.
And it didn't open at 8 AM every day in June or August either. We were there in August too and MK didn't open at 8

We were just there from June 17th through July 4th. I don't remember exactly what park hours were, but MK was open either 8 or 9am, and typically stayed open until at least 11pm. Some days it was open until 2am.

There were some days mid to late July with very short, non-summer-like hours.

Overall this summer was not normal with wait times often looking closer to low season.
