What is the Min number of Points you can purchase to join DVC?

I am considering purchasing DVC points through a resale.

What is the minimum number of points a non-DVC owner needs to purchase to join DVC?

Can I purchase as little as 50 points through a resale? or would I need to purchase at least 150 points?

Through a resale you can but whatever number you want. Through Disney it has to be at least 150 points.

The absolute minimum is 25 points (that's the smallest add-on DVC offers).

As HBC stated, the smallest thru DVC is 150 points and the smallest resale is 25 points (or whatever the smallest available may be- but there can't be any smaller than 25 points! .
