What is the first thing you do/would do when you get on Board?

What's the spa raffle and how do I enter!?

The last cruise we did, we went to a dining room for mixology signing up and they had three tables there. one for spa, one for palo (wonder) and one for mixology. Is it different on the Fantasy? do you need to go to Palo the restaurant for more bookings?
Palo dining changes/new bookings will be listed in the Navigator you get in the terminal. I believe it's actually at Palo on the Fantasy, unlike on the classic ships (we've gone to both Wavebands and Triton's for Palo changes on the Wonder)

Thank you! I don't even recall getting a navigator at the terminal last time. . . must have been too excited to remember.

Since we are not pool people we head to Cabana's first and then to Guest Services to get M&G tickets. Once our cabin is ready, it's time for a glass of wine and relax under muster drill.

We head for Cabanas then usually there is a DVC meeting which we like to go to in the D lounge. Then maybe hang around until the room is ready by the pool. Might change our MDRs if we haven't booked Palo on the night of Artist Palette my least favourite MDR. It gives me migraines!

We go eat , we are not pool people though.

Then explore the ship until we can get into our room. This is the only time you can go into any of the kids clubs , they all have open house so even if your kids are not old enough for the teen clubs you can still see them. Or in my case my kids were too old for the younger club by the time we went on the Fantasy ...I still wanted to see it in person since I saw lots of pictures on line.

We'd sailing on Sunday (!!) and also have an early PAT. The first thing I plan on doing is heading straight to Guest Services to put a gift card on the room, sign up for mixology, etc...then off to Cabanas. :)

Can you call Disney to put the gift card on your room?

We went and ate lunch in the open dining room, not crowded at all and it was fun to get a glimpse of where we would be eating dinner.

I like to definitely enjoy the slides, but I like to race right for the food! Also it's a good time to check in about last minute reservations/excursions if that's anything you're interested in.

After I grab something to eat (I usually skip breakfast to eat on the ship) I typically confirm and make additional dining reservations at Palo and/or Remy's. I also sign up for any meets or gatherings that require reservations. After that is all done I typically look for Cast Members from previous cruises to say "hi".

What is a DVC meeting? A sales meeting? I'm not interested in adding points.... at all. :(

Would do? My first Disney cruise is this November and I am going to head to our stateroom and pop the champagne I'm ordering. I booked a suite and I'm so excited to see how my husband and son react! Afterwards I'm planning on trying to let my son nap, so I'll be sitting on the verandah with snacks from the lounge.

The Spa will hold a raffle at around 3pm or so, typically in the gym.

Seeing that this is one of those old/new threads;)

We always have had an early PAT and the first things we do on the ship is go to guest services and sign up for fun stuff and then go to the main dining room for lunch, which as someone above said is never busy. We have met some very nice wait staff during this meal, many of them would say hi to us later in the cruise and go out of their way to help us when we saw them in say cabanas later in the trip.

You can now book the M&G online when booking excursions and other activities. Give you more time for wine and relaxing.
