What is the best moisturizer?

I have almost always used Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion. However, I am hoping to try to find one that might have some SPF to it. (In the past, SPF lotions have stung a little, so I always have quit using them and gone back to Clinique). I have just ordered a full set of EM make-up and was wondering what moisturizer everyone was using or what is your favorite.

Don't stop using sunscreen. I look more than 10 years younger than my age and I credit this to faithful use of sunscreen. Try the various non running, paba free sports type sunscreens. Cosmetic moisturisers with their little added sunscreen protection ,won't do the trick , since it's not enough spf protection. Don't buy your sunscreen at a department store make up counter. Moisturiser won't help you all that much, once the signs of aging sets in. Nothing ages you faster than the sun . I'm proud to say that I'm over 40 and I don't have a line, or age spot on my face . I don't need to wear make up because I took good care of my skin . Be good to yourself and you'll have great looking skin and drastically reduce your chances of developing melanoma.

My daughter is an esthetician here in sunny California. We use Dermicologica.
[not sure that's the correct spelling]. My husband was just recently diagnosed with skin cancer and doesn't leave the house without putting it on his face. I suppose that if we would have used it sooner that he wouldn't be going this this now, but you know about hindsight.

It's pretty expensive stuff, but it's a small price to pay compared with someone carving on your face.

I use AVON's All-in-One and have been for about 10 years. I used to use (many) an expensive brand, then discovered this stuff, it's great. Has sunscreen a MUST in any moisturizer. It is also very thick, a little goes a long way, inexpensive, but a quality product. It contains an alpha hydroxy (which by the way Avon was the innovator of). It works for my very sensitive very dry skin. They do offer it in a lotion if you don't need it so thick and rich. I have very dry skin. I'm 44 , the other day someone asked me how I'm going to deal with turning 30. I wanted to kiss them!

I used this on a fluke and have tried so many others I can't even list them all and I keep coming back to this stuff. It makes your skin super soft too and doesn't smell bad or over powering. You can get it on sale for $9.99 typically.

I've tried every top brand and have to say I love this stuff. If you can find a rep ask for a sample or even order it, if you don't like it it is 100% money back.

One more thing... I think they changed the name to all in one max now. Alot of people boo hoo Avon, but this is a great product. No I'm not a rep and I don't work for the company!!!!

I really like the Neutrogena brand. There stuff is really good on the skin and doesn't break the bank. I like that it can be found at most any drugstore.

What is the brand of sunscreen that you use? Do you use that on top of a regular moisturizer or that alone? Thanks!

I use Lancome "total well-being day cream hydration SPF15"

When I went looking for a moisturiser I told them I was looking for something light, not overpowering in fragrance, and had an SPF in it and I didn't have to use it day or night but whenever I felt I needed it. It has a creamy smooth texture with a fresh clean scent. LOVE IT!

I swear by Oil of Olay Complete (this one has sunscreen)

Have heard of 3 different dermatologists that have recommend it as well.

I just starting using C.O.Bigelow and I love it. They have different variations, some with sunscreen. I opted for one without because the makeup I use has it already.
If you dont have a C.O.B store, try Bath & Body Works or bigelowchemists.com (I think thats it)

I used to use Clinique until my friend started working there as the counter manager- you wouldnt beleive the stuff that goes into thier products (though I still use and LOVE their High Impact Mascara). I now use Aveeno face lotion w/ an spf of 15. Its very gentle and all natural. If you get it on sale you can get it for around 15 dollars.

Another vote for Olay Complete. It's great and inexpensive. Very gentle, IMHO; my skin is very fair (typical redhead! ) and sensitive and I have no problems with it.

I use to use Clinique, but it just got too expensive. I worked my way down to Oil of Olay Complete, until I had to go down another notch. I have been using the CVS brand of Olay Complete and have been very happy with the results. Many people have told me my skin looks great for "someone my age" I am 47.

I swear by Cliniderm. It's not cheap but not really expensive either. I buy it at my local drug store so it seems easy to come by. I have quite dry skin and nothing else seemed to work as well. Usually I would have to use other brands of moisturizer multiple times a day. I can simply put on Cliniderm in the morning and I'm all set for the rest of the day. This is miraculous to me!

I was introduced to it by a friend who suffers from psorasis and he finds it helps a great deal with that as well. Another friend is taking Acutane and therefore has extremely dry skin and it's his moisturizer of choice as well.

As far as I know it doesn't have sunscreen built in but it is a wonderful product that I would recommend to anyone regardless of your skin type. It really does feel lovely.
