What Does YOUR Electric Bill Look Like?

Wow I wish ours was that cheap, OP. Ours is about 80-120, most in the summer.

I'm in the Seattle area. We live in a 2000 sq foot, 2 level house. 2 adults/2 children. Heat and hot water are gas. The electric is about $ $75 per month. The highest in the last year was $106, the lowest $55. Gas is anywere from $10 a month in the summer to $130 in the winter. So the average is about $60.

About $150 a month for a 900 sf apt with 2 adults, no kids. This is just appliances/ lights/ stove. Our heat and hw are gas. Goes up to about $200 a month during the a/c months.

we have a 2600 SFH with 3 kids and 3 Adults lots of stuff electric and combined Gas and Electric Bill is around $300 on a good month. In the summer with air runs about $500....ouch.

Can I just pay $45.00 please :upsidedow

I budget about 50 a month. 2,000 sq ft home-temp set at 68 in the winter, 72 in the summer.

Bills range from just under 10.00 a month to maybe a hundred in a heat wave. The 10.00 bills are usually October when we are at Disney for 10 days.

KY has the lowest electric prices in the country.

HMMMMM maybe I should move there :thumbsup2

electricity here costs around 200Euro a month. This is just normal lighting and appliances (gas dryer). Heat is gas. During the summer months it is difficult to use AC without having a heart attack when the bill comes in. Given the fact we are paid in American Dollars and the bill is in Euro, with the exchange rate:scared1: , that 200Euro is a pretty hefty monthly bill.

We pay about $60./month in the winter and about $80./month in the summer due to the central air.

I've lived in the this house for 5 years. It was new construction. I've only had to change 2 lightbulbs - I changed 1 in the kitchen twice and 1 in the bedroom twice. We just don't use the lights a heck of a lot. Our dryer and stove are both electric, too. Our house is about 3,000 square feet. I work from home, too, so I'm here all the time.

This house (about 2000 sq ft)is all electric and in Feb my bill was $216, this month it was $157. Our house in Vegas was gas & electric, our worst bills were in the summer and I think the most I paid was about $330, that is constantly running the AC, no pool, and 2200 sq ft.

When we rented the upstairs of a house, it was about $60-$80 but that was a very small house. Add the AC's in the summer and it jumped up to $125. That was 7-8 years ago.

Now we pay on a budget plan that is $208 per month, but the house is much bigger. We also have an electric stove and dishwasher which we didn't have when we rented.

Our house is 1350 sq feet, all electric.

We pay $50-$60 a month for electric. The most expensive bill we ever had was $85 last summer when I was home on vacation for a week and ran our 1 window ac unit a lot (the week I was off it was over 100 degrees all week).
