Nor do I watch them much anymore.I didn't even know they owned them.
Disney has owned them since 1995. They were part of the purchase of ABC & Capcities, which cost Disney $19 billion.I didn't even know they owned them.
History channel used to be good when they had documentaries rather than weird programming about Aliens or shows about conspiracies like whether Hitler really diedNor do I watch them much anymore.
Disney has actually owned A+E Global Media since 2009, when the latter acquired Lifetime Entertainment Services, which came with Disney’s purchase of Capital Cities/ABC in 1995.Disney has owened them since 1995. They were part of the purchase of ABC & Capcities, which cost Disney $19 billion.
Then what was the point of adding A+E content onto Disney+? I thought that would’ve proved that Disney still cared for the A+E channels.Disney selling A&E, Lifetime, History Channel:

I used to watch A&E and the History Channel a lot back when we had cable. When they added "Ice Truckers" to the programming line up, it was time to pull the plug.History channel used to be good when they had documentaries rather than weird programming about Aliens or shows about conspiracies like whether Hitler really died
Good riddance
One of my granddaughters has paralyzing fear about new experiences. Ride through videos have helped her enjoy Silver Dollar City this summer for the first time.I've always wondered what the draw is of ride POV videos. I wouldn't want to spoil the personal discovery of a new ride. And then once I've been, I've seen it. But I suppose I'm in the minority!
Normally, I don't care about them. I did have to watch Steel Vengeance's to figure out what the heck happened after I rode it. The elements come so quickly I could not keep track of them on the ride. My daughter asked me to describe it after I rode: "The first half was amazing, the second half was intense, and the third half was bananas."I've always wondered what the draw is of ride POV videos. I wouldn't want to spoil the personal discovery of a new ride. And then once I've been, I've seen it. But I suppose I'm in the minority!
Makes me glad! I wish MK would have had this kind of attention during its 50th, with a ceremony and all. (But I think Chapek was scared of getting booed)
