Oh I like that!! Any special reason for the chinese theme?? Cherry blossoms would be pretty!

Chinese and Japanese (Asian) styles have always appealed to me. My whole house (pretty much) has been done in this style. Now so will my lower back!!! (as long as I can get my fat @$$ off the couch and lose these 30 lbs!!!)

I have always wanted a phoenix too!!! For the same reasons...but I ended up with the Mickey for my first...and well never got around to it.

When I get around to be able to afford it, I was going to ask the tattoo artist to work a hidden mickey into it.

Lol that is cool...I have seen a lot of great work with hidden mickeys. I didn't want anything cartoonish for my first one but I knew I wanted something Disney!

Love it! How did you pick it out? I have certain things I'd like to represent....but have no idea how to put it together in a tattoo. I want it to be on my lower back.

To be honest I am always looking out for things that are visually interesting, not necessarily looking for tattoos. I was in line at Starbucks and it just kinda jumped out to me. I loved what it represented and the look of it.

All of my tattoos have a very personal meaning to me and I tend to look a lot on the internet and combine things that I like. My newest one is a combination of two designs I found and tweaked a bit to put together.

See, I have an issue..... I want to get it on my lower back (yeah, and tramp stamp, leave me alone about it!!!) but I also love to wear my spanx!!! I can't see the point of getting this tat on my lower back if I'm always wearing spanx, KWIM? Gotta lose the 30 lbs - gotta put down the chinese food.... after the spare ribs are gone that is!!!!! I've already lost just under 50lbs, just gotta get 30 more..... gotta get back on that treadmill!!!

Awww if you can do 50lbs you can do 30lbs!!! And you should get your tattoo wherever you want to get it!!!

Am I the only one that can't see some of the pictures. It says this message moved or deleted by photobucket. The ones I can see are great. I have 2 myself, but no pictures of them right now. I have one on my hip and one on my shoulder blade. Neither hurt very much, but I did get them about 17 years ago so maybe I'm just not remembering

I can't wait to get my next one. I am getting my 2 daughters' names around my ankle like an ankle bracelet. I am going to get 2 princess crowns between the names.
