What do you cook that you hate the smell of?

Ok I have to ask but if something smells so gross that you gag or have to have someone else cook it why do you eat it:lmao: I hate the smell of fish and some meats cooking but as a vegetarian I don't eat it. I love the smell of everything I am cooking for myself. If it smelled bad I wouldn't be eating it:confused3

My thoughts exactly. If I can't stand to be around the cooking odor, I won't be sticking around to eat. I won't even make something for DH that I think is stinky.

Hamburger aka ground beef. The store-bought ground beef just has an off gross smell. Most times after it's cooked I can eat it as a burger, or in lasagna etc.

The stuff I get at the local meat market is much better. I think its beef from the local farmers.

I'm the one who can't stand the smell of steak-ums. I do not eat steak-ums. They make me nauseous. DH cooks them and eats them.

Anything with peanut butter, asparagus, orange things because I hate the smell when oranges are being peeled.

Stuffing. Just the smell is enough to make me gag. Fortunately I only have to deal with it on Thanksgiving.

Not a cooked item, but Doritos are another enemy of mine. Can't stand the smell!

:lmao:

What!!! I think bacon frying is one of the BEST smells!
NO KIDDING!!! Lol! I LOOOOVE the smell of bacon (pork bacon of course!). when im trying to eat healthy, i buy chicken bacon cause I cant stand turkey bacon. Tastes awful! Chicken bacon is way better. And it doesnt stink! :goodvibes

Another one that makes me  is boiled chicken.
yes! boiled chicken or frying beef even, the smell isnt very nice at all. Canned salmon is also pretty bad. So nasty.

Fish. I do not eat it but my mom does. She will usually cook it when she knows I will not be home

CAULIFOWER! tHE SMELL STAYS IN THE HOUSE FOR DAYS. It doesn't matter how mucj lysol, scensy, yankee candles you use.

I heard one way to get rid of unpleasant scents is to place a bowl of water (1 cup) filled with cinnamon (1 tsp or so) in the microwave. Heat it on "high" power for a minute, then remove and let sit out.

Sauerkraut

Turkey in the oven (like on Thanksgiving)

Right there with you.

I couldn't even figure out the title - like why would you be cooking something you couldn't stand the smell of. I get though, for other people, I suppose, but if it smells gross to me, I ain't eating it!

What are you doing to cauliflower?!

I cook it all the time, and there's barely any smell from it at all but certainly not one that lingers for days?!

What're you doing to that cauliflower?! Step away!
