What discount did you end up getting and how much did you save?

OK, I've heard a few people talk about AAA discounts and a Disney deal. So you can book a AAA discount and get another room discount on top of that? I thought you couldn't combine discounts.

No, you can't stack discounts. You can get an AAA discount on a room only reservation, either through AAA or through Disney (by phone, not online). You can book a Disney package through AAA and get a special rate. But you can't, for example, book the FD package and use the AAA discount on the room portion. That's a no-no.

my head is spinning reading everyone's numbers. it looks like some of you got awesome deals! Did I??? I changed to 40% off, and then called back this morning to try to get the % off and free dining...here's what I got.

2 adults, 1 child, 1 under 3.....7 nights at Wilderness Lodge 1 bdrm villa, disney dining plan and 7 day park hopper tix...total $3865.

It's hard to swallow the villa prices when I see what grt deals everyone gets on regular rooms, but it's so nice to have a villa when it's our only family vacation of the year and our kids go to bed earlier than us!!!! We don't rent a car, so we don't incur much costs when we are there. We also have Disney rewards visa $, so I'm going to try to figure out how to use those to pay for some of the trip.

We have 8 nts booked at SSR for the end of Oct. 2010. I originally updated the res. with FD and had saved $1295. Yest. morning I called to change our discount to the room only one and saved another $1000, for a total of. . . $2303 off the rack rate!

We changed our MLK week reservation to the week of 1/23-1/29 and used the Free Dining discount. So for the two of us (DH and me), we are saving $525-ish. Not bad, it's the first time we've used free dining, and we got all the ADRs we wanted at the exact times we wanted!

Ok I see a lot of people changed existing reservations as I did...question...how long before your adjustment showed up on the online reservation on the WDW site? I haven't even received an email confirmation. Have any of you? I did the change yesterday .

We changed our trip from Dec to May last night. I had my confirmation within an hour. If you log in it should show on there.

Just booked my first ever WDW package!!! And using free dinning we saved over 600$ (three adults!).

All my resort dates that had been booked for Dec 2010 qualified for the DIS discount code, but the Polynesian rooms and PORFQ rooms did not qualify. The 2 rooms at AS Music did qualify for a $46 discount. Wow am I lucky or what? Definitely will not be visiting Vegas.

We got 25% off our already booked stay at AKL in Dec. Saved $550 on our 7 night stay in Savannah View room.

Originally booked rack rate for 2br Villa, Savannah view, at AK Kidani Village, DDP for 5 adults and my little granddaughter (3yrs old, 1st visit!), 6 nights, 7day PH - for $9604. Changed it to a AAA package which brought the cost down to $8565. Checked on Free Dining, which would have brought the cost down to around $7100, but with the upgrade to DDP, it would have been 8150.
I asked my AAA TA to check for the 40% off rate. Bingo! We are now at $7525.

Total "savings" of $2079 over the original rack rate, for same package, including DDP.

We went with 1/9-1/16 Free QS @ Pop. 2 adults, 2 kids (1 under 3) 5 day PH. Original price was $2,176 down to $1,602. We saved $574.

Our savings will cover just about all of our sit down dinners we have booked. I ran the numbers and it was cheaper NOT to upgrade to the standard dining plan and keep our QS plan, just paying for our sit downs OOP. Plus, we currently have around $700 in disney rewards from my Visa.

We had already booked ASMo for 10 nights with dining. Once we made the change to free dining (and upgraded to regular plan) we saved 819.70. Two adults and one child. Not as good as previous pins I've received but still decent!

Okay I'm a little slow. I read about the discounts released yesterday and didn't really jump on it because we only go to WDW every other year or so. And, we have never been there for DD6's bday, but we have for the rest of us, so I thought maybe this would finally be the time to go. So question - who are all of you calling to adjust your already-booked reservations? I put a request thru to 2 different online travel agents (Small World Vacs. & The Magic For Less) and am going nuts here waiting on any kind of answer! So I came to visit y'all at the DIS Boards to find out more. Now I wonder if I'm too late.

I think I'm trying to get room-only 40% off of a 6 night CR stay, parking lot view (don't care, we are in the parks all day). Dates are probably 2/6-2/12/2011, which I am not seeing that the free Dining Plan offer is blacked out, so that's why I say "room only". I plugged in the info to the Disney website and the room rates were crazy high, and no place to plug in a code. I closed that window out pretty quickly!

Any tips, or any websites that anybody knows about that I can plug all of my info in and get an instant answer as to how much it would cost and be able to use any of the codes? Thanks much!

You have to book through the link on Disney's website to get the deal. Hope this copied link works for you. Once you select which offer you are interested in, you have to use the "Check Availability Now" button to get that offer. HTHs I usually don't use a travel agent to book my trips and do it all myself.

You have to go to the special offers section of disney's website and check form there for your dates. If you do not already have a reservation booked you can just book form there and it will be the same discount an agent could get you. AAA won't do you any good if you book with one of disney's dicounts, and nither will disney visa as you cannot stack discounts. I caleld disney reservations to change my ressie, but if I hadn't already booked I would have done it online.
