Our Anniversary Weekend was fantastic! The Contemporary was amazing! We even got upgraded to a tower room! :woohoo: I'm writing a Trippie because we just had so much Magic! The room was amazing! I took SO MANY pictures! We even got our own flat screen computer with free Internet access. It was so great! I'm so glad I finally got to stay there! I have been a fan of the Contemporary for a long time! We did an all out Contemporary weekend and the food at Concourse Steakhouse was great! :thumbsup2

Hi Lindsey,
I enjoyed the update. We've never taken the glass bottom boat tour. It sounds like it goes all the way around the island. Was it worth the $?
Teresa

It doesn't go around the entire island, but you do get to go along side the ship and almost the entire island from the beginning to the end of Serenity Bay. You can get some great photos and really get a good perspective of it all! It's a beautiful sight to see! I think it was a little expensive for what it really was, but isn't everything! :rotfl: I wouldn't say it's worth the money. I think it should be a little less expensive. It also all depends on what kind of fish or out swimming around that day. We enjoyed it and I liked being out on the water, but I think once is enough. :)

Oh, it was! :cloud9: Thanks so much! I'm glad you are enjoying my Trippie!

On the hunt for Mickey!

We made it over to the Family Beach and DH had his heart set on going snorkling! He had to find that sunken hidden Mickey, so off he went to get his gear!

n25002324_32216730_7814.jpg

I decided I'd stay on the beach and soak up the little sun there was left. We had to be back on the ship pretty soon, so I was hoping the afternoon showers would hold off until then for us.

n25002324_32216731_8094.jpg

DH was very sucessful on his expedition and found lots of hidden treasues!

I saw some lightning in the distance and then I saw DH making his way up the beach. He had made it just in time because everyone was being told to get out of the water. It was perfect timing because it was almost time for everyone to be back on the ship. DH returned his snorkling gear and we made our way up the small hill back to the ship. Then, the down pour of rain began and everyone took off to the ship!

We decided to stop by the Post Office because I wanted to mail a postcard to my family. I also found out Castaway Cay has their own stamps, so I had to buy a couple of those! They were so neat! By the time, we made it out of the Post Office, the rain had stopped and it was time to be back on board.

It was a wonerful day on Castaway Cay and it truly was paradise! Now, it was time to board our ship and get ready for the real advenutre, PIRATE NIGHT! pirate:

We were exhausted from our exciting and busy day on Castaway Cay, so we decided to skip our scheduled dinner and go for some room service! :thumbsup2

All the food was fantastic! I especially loved the vegetable lasagna and I even got a Mickey Ice Cream bar! How great is that!? :mickeybar

n25002324_32219397_6321.jpg

We enjoyed our yummy dinner in our room, while we watched "The Little Mermaid." The perfect movie to watch on a Disney Cruise! Then, it was time for us to get dressed in our pirate clothes for the night I was looking most forward to, Pirate Night!

It still was my birthday and DH didn't let me forget that! He surprised me with another gift! :goodvibes It was a crystal Cinderella & Prince Charming with a light stand, so it actually glows and changes colors. It is so neat and I just love it!

n25002324_32219398_6615.jpg

I saw that they were having Pirate Bingo for the party events began and I love pirates, and I love BINGO! :thumbsup2 I decided we needed to press our luck and see if we could win big!

Well, we had no luck at all in Bingo, but they did give out some nice cash prizes and we enjoyed some pre-pirate party drinks! You've got to have rum on Pirate Night, right!? Arrrrr! pirate:

n25002324_32219403_7998.jpg

It was time for the most amazing party at sea, the Pirates of the Caribbean Pirate Party!

Video 5: Pirate Dance Party

We got the party started with singing and dancing! The characters quickly joined us to really get us in the partying mood! They were all decked out in their pirate attire. I never knew Minnie & Goofy had such great dancing skills!

n25002324_32219423_3703.jpg

We were having a blast and then our party was crashed by a mean group of pirates! They were taking over our ship and were led, by no other than, Captain Hook! :scared1:

n25002324_32219424_3990.jpg

What were we going to do!? We need a hero!

Then, the music pumped through the speakers...

"We need a Hero!"

Our hero, Mickey, appeared to save the day, flying across the entire ship!

n25002324_32219425_4279.jpg

n25002324_32219426_4553.jpg

With a point of Mickey's finger, he said, "I promised you a party and here's the party in the sky!" and the sky errupted with fireworks!

n25002324_32219427_4827.jpg

And with that, Mickey had saved the day and it was time to get back to partying! He'll always be my Hero! :thumbsup2
