I'm looking foward to your DL trippie too.

Omgosh I can't believe I only just found this trippie! :headache: I've been waiting for it since you told us way back that you were going!

Great start! Its funny that they brought you your birthday cake and birthday button on your first night when it wasn't even your birthday because they did the same for me last year!

Your family is too cute for sending their birthday wishes to your stateroom! :cloud9:

Please continue and I agree with Tink rules, can you please put a link in your siggy to your DL TR? I will be there on Sunday (I hope) for the first time but I realize you won't have it posted by then! :goodvibes

Yeah, I found Lindsey's latest trip report! I've been waiting for it! It looks like you had a great time! I can't wait to read more.

Great trippie, Lindsey!

Be careful, these cruises are addictive. I just booked my first seven-night cruise for Dec. 8, 2007, and I can't wait! We'll be celebrating our 35th anniversary on that cruise!

We had Hannelie as our assistant server on our Nov. 2005 b2b (Sunil was our server), and just yesterday were wondering if she was still on board. It was very early in her first contract, and she was more than a little homesick. She was great, and really enjoyed telling us all about her home and her family. I'm glad she's still around!

Your pictures are beautiful, and I can wait to read the rest of your report!

Beth

Looks and sounds like you were onto a great start for your cruise!!! I love the picture with you sititng in the window...looking so relaxed and as if you were daydreaming about being able to see the real Capt Jack Sparrow in a couple of day! :cloud9:

I love your Trippie and can't wait to read more.

you guys didnt visit atlantis? courious about that place too!!

well anyway great TR so far, can't to check it out tomorrow!!

~sue

No, we didn't visit Atlantis. We did want to have to spend all the money to get over there and then the money to do any of the activities. We wanted to spend time on the ship and just enjoy it! :goodvibes It was so worth it!

I am so addicted! :yay: I hope we can book another cruise soon! A 10-day would be fantastic! I know 4-days is just not enough! It's great for a weekend getaway, but I'm not ready to get off the ship! The Mexican cruise sounds amazing too! DCL has too many choices now! :goodvibes

When you do you DL TR, can you please put a link on this TR? I'd like to be able to find and read it!!! :surfweb:

Dinner at Palo's

I was thrilled that I was able to book reservations for Palo's before our trip and it was what I was most looking forward too! I even made sure to get us reservations for brunch too! :thumbsup2

DH & I got all dressed up for our romantic dinner at Palo's. We were celebrating my 24th birthday, but also doing a little early anniversary celebrating as well. (Our anniversary is this Saturday, June 9! )

The restaurant was amazing and had the most beautiful view! Our waiter, Jason, was great! He made us feel so special! He even brought me a black napkin because my dress was black. Now, that's what I call service! :goodvibes We went all out for this meal and ordered some wine and a special champagne for me!

DH & I were so impressed with our entire expereince. Half way through our meal, our waiter, Jason, asked us if we'd like to try the soufflé because it would take 20 minutes to prepare. He didn't want us to wait because he knew we were trying to make it to that night's performance at the Walt Disney Theatre!

The chocolate soufflés were so warm and delicious! Jason poured white chocolate into mine and DH chose to go with chocoalte. I also noticed a hidden Mickey on our fancy plates! He's not so easy to see. See if you can find him! It also came with the creamiest, melt-in-your-mouth ice cream!

Jason then surprised us with a vanilla bean dessert, which was also fantastic! Jason couldn't believe how fast I devoured the soufflé!

See the hidden Mickey!? ;)

Jason had more surprises up his sleeve and came over and presented me with a special little surprise for my birthday! :goodvibes It was so sweet!

It was the most amazing dinner I've ever had and that's thanks to our wonderful server, as well!

We left Palo's and I was so glad to know we'd be returning for brunch very soon! We saw that there was a special Character Autograph session going on in the lobby. I had never seen the characters having an Autograph session before and it was quite a sight to see!

Chip 'n Dale were just adorable in their sailor suits and kept fighting over all the autograph books!

Ok well I am super late...thanks for posting I'm so glad you had a blast on your cruise...and you're right 4 days is not enough...I am looking into a 7day for the fall for my son and I. I have to tell you now though don't bother looking into any other cruise line, you will be sadly disappointed. I'm looking forward to your reaction to Castaway and I hope you found the ultimate hidden Mickey!!
