I'm soooooo bored of making dinner, after doing it for a year straight!! HAHA....(kind of exaggerating, but y'all can relate to 2020.)

Soooooo...I searched What's for Dinner? and this is the thread that came up! Looking for inspiration!

Our dinner was pretty basic from Trader's Joe's. Grilled some chicken apple sausages on the Trager, sautéed some sweet potato ribbons in the cast iron and threw together a green salad.

Are there recipe threads on here or should I start a new one?

This isn’t a recipe thread per se, but I’m sure if you read about something that interests you, the poster would be happy to tell you how it’s made. Just quote them and ask.

Tonight it’s a cup of spinach broth, followed by smothered pork chops and rice; added carrots, leeks and mushrooms to the roux for a one pot meal.

For dessert, DGD is having crepes with raspberry sorbet with a chocolate caramel sauce (bought the sauce) and I’ll just have the sorbet.

Have a chicken dry brining in the fridge for Friday and Saturday meals. First day, it’ll be roast chicken with sautéed radicchio and on Saturday, it becomes fried rice.

Tonight is baked salmon in foil, quinoa brown rice and roasted broccolini. Wayyy to healthy/boring. ha!

Drove through Wendy's. Baconator combo for DS, Son of Baconator combo for me, Asiago Ranch chicken combo for DH - nothing extra, nothing upsized = $39.79. That's another reason I hate fast food - the prices here are ridiculous.

It is high and about the same price for combos at McDonald's or A&W. If the food cost half the price, I wouldn't be so cranky about it being gross.

Pepperoni Roll and BBQ Chicken Roll. Kind of a last minute decision this morning to defrost two frozen bread doughs and make these. I have no recipe, I just wing it
