We're at DISNEYLAND!!

I have moved into the Presidental suite at the DGC with my guys. What a view...the park too ;)

Harry Potter was very good. Probably will see it once more (at least). That 2 1/2 hours flew right by.
Elaine....might want to watch it at home ;)

Came home to 7 packages on my doorstep!! :bounce: Spent all afternnon sorting them .
3 from Yankee...one I ordered, 2 exchanges :bounce:
2 from Amazon...they shipped overnight....who said complaining doesn't do any good? ;)
And a BaB exchange....an amazing one. Not much left on my wish list. It is posted on the BaB thread, if anyone wants to check it out.

Also got my info on Red Hat Society :teeth: Anyone want to join my chaper?? You are all welcome.

Suzanne...thank you for the info on Liz's father. Boy, the yayas have had a rough year. I hope all goes the best that can be expected for him. It is a rough thing to deal with :(

Elaine, have fun with the family tonight.

Back from spending time with my Dad, brother & SIL. Actually watched cool clips relating to their job and what they do (gov't work, missile defense).

Suzanne, definitely will think good thoughts for Liz... that is so sad :( Good luck with work yourself... hope your schedule won't be too bad!

Nancy, thanks for hte warning. I'd heard that this one could be questionable as well. I think I'll wait for it to come on DVD and have Luis watch it and cover my eyes when needed :p But I heard it was very good! glad you got your packages from Amazon.

Gwen is crying like crazy... anyone want a cat? I promise to poke holes when I ship :p

Alan, isn't is amazing to see how the younger dog and older dog are different? Actually, Pilot will probably help your older dog feel younger.

Yes, now Winston is scavenging things on the floor that he didn't used to

They are playing well together :)

It was early in the movie, so once that is over, you are good to watch the rest.
I thought that part was quite humorous myself :teeth:

Headed out early in the morning for another movie. This time Dave's pick for date day....going to see Pride and Prejudice.

:wave2:

Happy Sat. morning to all! Heading out to Penney's to see what's on sale. Of course, a stop at Starbuck's is also in the plan ;) .

Yippee, we're in DL. :Pinkbounc

Suzanne, thanks for the update on Liz. Will be thinking of her and sending lots of PD and prayers. Oh my, what a year for the YaYa's. :sad1:
Looking forward to seein' ya!

Glad you enjoyed the movie Nancy and that your packages all arrived. Enjoy todays show.

DS has been sick with a stomach virus so we will pick up a movie from Blockbuster this afternoon and hang out here. Then I have a "date" for later in the evening. The guy I've kinda been seeing has a son that's in a band and they are playing at a club at the beach. Not exactly MY kind of music but, it should be fun.
Ok, I'm off to shower and shop, shop, shop.
Hope everyone has a super spectacular day.

Morning All,

My thoughts and prayers go out to Liz and her dad. It has been a very tough year for the Yayas.

Karen could you call Disney and see if they would switch the offer to something in WDW as you will probably not be back to Disneyland but will be going to WDW. Worth a try. They just might do it to make you happy and also they figure they will get you to spend at WDW. Gotta love the logic behind what Disney does.

Lily CONGRATS on Ted being home!!

Elaine be careful with that ankle.

Alan Im so sorry to hear that Mrs. AA got hurt. Hope her ankle gets well quickly. Pilot sounds like such a cutie.

Suzanne sorry you lost a manager which is making you work longer hours.

Nancy we saw Harry Potter tonight too. It was a good movie. My only thought was the story line was a lot more convoluted than it needed to be. There were also a lot fewer people than I thought there would be considering it was opening day. We grabbed the boys right after school and took them. Only thing I can think of is that we caught it right between the busy times.

RM welcome home. Sorry we didnt get a chance to see you when you were here.

Been a weird week around my house. Wednesday morning we nearly had a fire. Apparently even though the damage caused to our stack was cosmetic there still was a problem back there that wasnt checked out by Florida Power and Light before they turned us on even though they were called twice about the damage back there. Apparently either during the storm or after when they came and tightened the line the neutral line to the house was crossed over the mainline causing the neutral line to burn out. Well all heck broke loose on Wednesday morning when things started popping and cracking in my house, lights were going off and on, dhs computer exploded causing the loudest sound and brightest light. Dh pulled the mains and we got ahold of the electrician. He came down and said it definitely was FPLs fault and called them to come and fix it. Apparently the neutral buring out caused 220 V to go coursing through my house and is what caused the blowing out and up of things. We are going after FPL for the damage. I count my blessings though. Two hours either way and the outcome of this could have been so much different. Had it happened when we were sleeping we could have had a fire while we slept. Had it happened two hours later we would have been at work and come home to a burnt out house. To top it all off I was eating something Wednesday night and cracked off my bridge which of course is in the front of my mouth so I had to work all Thursday with two missing teeth! Went yesterday and they are putting temps on on Monday. Now we get a call from my ILs last night that Thanksgiving plans have changed. We were supposed to go to Disney but decided not to and decided to go to dinner with my ILs and BIL and SIL at a local restaurant. Now my SIL wants Tday at her house which is 2.5 hours away from here. This now means we have to drive 5 hours in one day just to have dinner. Im not crazy about the idea at all. We cant stay overnight because we have the dog and now its too late to try and board him. I also dont have anyone who can come over and walk him etc.....

Well I better get something ready for breakfast.

HUGS TO ALL!!! :grouphug:

Morning, all.

Checked in with Liz a little while ago. She's ready for her flight and should be landing in southern Florida around 3:30. After my sister's trip down here, Ed reminded her to bring dress clothes.

House next door was up for rent, people moved in last weekend. Seems they have two junker cars and every morning, it sounds like an airplane in their driveway as they try to get the cars jumped. Fortunately, it's on the opposite side of the house from my bedroom, so it doesn't wake me up.

So, who will be here on the 27th? I'm off and will probably come play that day. Have a wine event to go to on Sunday, and figure we'll go to stepdad's after that.

Suzanne

Morning all... quick hi... want to shower and see waht the family is up to today. Hopefully going over the TG menu!

Alan, I betcha those two are cute playing together like that. Reminds me of stuff my siblings and I would do to each other (more mental messing than physical). Good luck to your team today :)

I wish I would be better with spiders Nancy... I just freak out even during ITTBAB. I can't say I even liked Charlotte's Web much

Rose Mary, I do hope you enjoy the day and that your DS is feeling much better soon! What kind of music does the son play?

Karen, hope TG won't be too bad away... we used to do a drive like that for almost every holiday.

Suzanne, I'll be there on the 27th... just arriving though. We *have* to go to MK that day ;) but I think we might do that in the morning just to soak it in. Possibly move to Epcot after that and see if we can get a few big rides in via singles line and then wind up at MGM for Osborne Lights that night. I want my dad to see them since he never has before!

Enjoy the day all... I'll check in when I can :)

Thanksgiving may be a no go anyway depending on what TS Gamma decides to do. According to our news last night, as told to me by dh. they are expecting it to do exactly what Wilma did just not as strong. According to what Im seeing on the web though its supposed to go south of us but we are still in the cone of error. This may sound awful but Im praying it goes anywhere but here. We have had more than enough.

Hi Ya Yas!

Been thinking of Liz as she is traveling southward. Prayers for all involved.

Suzanne, sorry about the extra work you seem to be facing at the store.

Elaine, hope you enjoy your time with family. Take care of that ankle.

Karen, seems like you really have your life overflowing with more than I could handle.

It is a beautiful sunny day her. Cold, but sunny. I can handle that. I went for a VERY slow crawl out in my space and managed 8 miles. Back is getting somewhat better, but aches seem to be traveling...I guess sympathy for the other muscles.

Found the new home, but don't have time to play..been napping all day due to a tension headache....ugh! Don't really think I'm stressed but apparently my body thinks so!!!

I need to go print the wdw schedule for next week so I know which days are EMHs!!

Take care all1

Suzanne we are there on the 27th. We have lunch at CRT at 1PM that day. We will more than likely be at MK that morning. We might head over to MGM in the afternoon evening. That part is subject to change. Beth and I are looking forward to seeing you again. We fly down Friday night late. So we start our WDW stuff on saturday. :cool1:    :bounce: :bounce: pirate: :earboy2:

Hey gang,

Love the new home.

hugs to Liz.

Just in case anyone else is interested...I'm doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour on Sunday 11/27 at 9 am!! :Pinkbounc Mom is keeping the kids (this kind of thing doesn't interest her as much and so she will be taking the kids to the pool and the play area on the property!!)

So Suzanne I will be there on the 27th, but I won't be available until the afternoonn..unless of course you want to join me for the tour ::yes::

Head is somewhat better, so I'm going to bed now.

Ella's baptism is tomorrow at 830 am so I must get some shut eye...I'm dreading getting the boys ready...I am sooo not used to having to do it that early in the morning...I'm way too spoiled! I have to make sure Jar gets his meds at least an hour and a half before the service so he will sit stil.

Hope all are well. Take care tonight.

Hi all! Tired so going to bed now :)

OSU won!! Woo hoo!!!! Big 10 Champs :hyper:

Lily, glad you could enjoy the sunshine! I don't mind the cold either as long as I get sun :sunny:

Tara, all you need is my schedule I made for Alan
Alan's Schedule
It has all the park hour listed for the week fo the 27th :teeth:
Wish I could join on the tour, but we won't land until 8 am so I doubt we'll be checked in before 9 am.
I think my dad might go for the train tour the next day though.

Dave, if you think you and Beth might be in MGM the night of the 27th, give us a call. We should be doing Osborne Lights that night. And I know we'll be in MK that morning at least for a little while!

Just in case, here's my shedule though I don't ahve something for Friday listed yet... late afternoon meet with angels
Lainey's Schedule

With that, I am off

Rose, I was wondering about the music style too. Typical "young" music? Something other than God's music? (You know guitar-heavy classic or Southern rock?)

Karen, all I can say is "yuck". I hope y'all get everything straightened out and am glad it was not worse.

More hugs for Liz

And yep, Lainey is handy to have around ;) even if the webpage was a twitty response to me asking her too many questions about EMH :)

Yeah, you know I appreciate it Lainey....

Night y'all
