Morning All,

Just watched the weather report and WOOOOFREAKINGHOOOO Gamma is moving off!!!!! Predicted to go way south of us, downgrade, and not cause much of a problem at all for anyone!!! That made my morning along with stepping on the scale and I have lost 17 pounds since Wilma hit on the 24th of October!!!! Im gonna get bopped at church if I mention my weight loss because they were all talking last week about how much they have gained since the storm LOL!!!

Today is going to be a fun day at Kids Church. The two heads of Kids Church are having a T-day BUG dinner today. It was a contest they had between the boys and the girls to raise money during the 40 days of Purpose for the hurricane victims of Katrina. The girls won but the girls lead said she would eat one too ROFL!!! We have cocolate covered ants, sour cream and onion crickets etc...... Yes they are real bugs. Believe it or not one of our candy shops down here sells them. Should be interesting ROFL!!!!

Pammy Im sending you a life preserver!!! Hang in there kiddo!!!

Elaine congrats on OSU winning!!!

Shep glad you finally found us!!

Well I have to get the kidlets up and start getting them ready for church.

HUGS TO ALL!!!! :grouphug:

And yep, Lainey is handy to have around ;) even if the webpage was a twitty response to me asking her too many questions about EMH :)

Yeah, you know I appreciate it Lainey....
If you weren't so cute Alan, I'd probably whop ya hard ;)
And yes, that webpage is a twitty reply to something you said to me. I was "fed up" so I created it :p

Awww, Pam  I wish I could've helped!!! I hope you made it!!!

Sorry about that Todd... I was hoping Kathy would've left great direction at the old place. No comment on the Bengals though ;)

Was very happy to hear about Gamma moving south as well... never looked like that one woud've been strong, but all the better :teeth:

Morning Lily!

I need to finish getting ready for church. tired today trying to watch too much football last night. Ankle is okay, but will try to be nice again to it. Weird to have this injury... not at all like twisting or the like (if that makes sense). Not sure if I will shop or nap this afternoon!

See y'all later!

Hi everyone ......I finally made it.....

Head spinning from all the time-zone changes....

NOt even going to attempt a ketchup..... here's what's up with me..

**** counselors visit on Thursday went very well.....husband was open and honest and has agreed to go back. Doctor told me to "stop being the United Nations and be Switzerland".
**** went out to breakfast on Friday with my dad and then to Barnes and Noble - started Christmas shopping - woohoo!! Bought "How to build the cars from the FAst and the Furious" for Chris - for Alyssa Monty Python daily trivia calendar and a game "Imagineif".
**** Lion King friday night was spectacular - a great performance!!!!
**** Yesterday ordered 2 books online from Barnes and Noble for my inlaws (better discount than in the store).
**** Had an employee call out so had to work 4-8pm last night.
**** Watched beginning and woke up for ending of Star WArs Episode 3
**** Thanksgiving , Christmas, New years et al...have been joined by Prince of the Forest and Bambi's mom (much to my husbands chagrin as there is no hunting this weekend...)

**** I have a cute story - Plimoth Plantation - Alyssa went there on a field trip - probably 2nd or 3rd grade - of course they are all in costume but also 100% in character. The aid in Alyssa class asked "What do you do with the kids when they misbehave?"...The person that she asked replied "why we kick them of course" - so she said "You kick the children?" - he replied "No - we kick the kids...the goats!"

Not feeling very well today - woke up with a bad headache.....have to work from 12-5...long day.

Chris has his drivers license test tomorrow morning.....

I'll try to heck in later...gotta get unpacked and settled into our new home.....

morning gang!!
thanks for the schedule elaine...a day late and a dollar short!! hehe I have already printed the calendars from the WDw site!!

Back from Ella's service. It was very nice and Ella looked like a little angel in the Christening outfit they found for her. I swear it had more beading than a full length wedding gown!! but she was absolutely adorable!

Gotta go clean house. Back later!
tara

Hi Kama!! Anyone want to join me for a trip through the Haunted Mansion?

/
HI all!
Got my Wally World shopping done, alone with about 10,000 trillion other people! ;) Sheesh, I should have gotten up earlier.
Lainey- Alan hit the nail on the head about my friend's son's music. :earseek: Typical young "LOUD" music where you can't understand any of the words. Alan- wish it had been Southern Rock as they were playing at "Freebirds"! Apparently, alot of up and coming young rock bands play there as they were one of four scheduled for the evening.
I just love those "WDW schedules" as I never plan anything out ahead of time.
Lily- Hope your aches are better today.
Karen - I too am sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up. I was in Key West for a week then S. Miami for the remainder. Glad I don't have to deal with that traffic on a daily basis. :Pinkbounc About Gamma. I was praying along w/you for it to go ANYWHERE but, near our state. Enough is enough already. Glad your electrical woes didn't turn out too seriously.
Suzanne - :wave2: me, me, me I'll be at WDW on the 27th. Look forward to seein' ya.
Tiara- I have never done the Keys to the Kingdom tour. May try to hook up with ya' for that. I'll check it out.
Shep - So glad you found your way "home". Now stay close so you don't get lost again. :teeth:
Pam- You hanging in there? You haven't totally sunk have ya'? Do we need to send out a rescue crew?
Paula- Glad the counselor visit went well. I like that about being "Switzerland". Hope you are feeling better and BOO about so much work.
:wave2: Nancy- Hope you are having a lovely day!
Ok, off to check out the Jaguars football game. Perfect day to stay in and watch the tube as it is dreary and overcast here.
Have a wonderful day all!

Hi all... had church & lunch, then went shopping for things i am not sure I belong in. Long story, but came home with two skirts, a turtleneck sweater (which I swear I normally hate) and a pair of brown boots.

The skirt I am not so sure of is

gp327905-00p01v01.jpg

Just feels short to me, if you know what I mean. But Luis nodded, so I guess it is okay :)

Nancy, I hope you had a fun day out!! Get anything good :teeth:

Paula, I am glad to hear that all went well at the meeting on Thursday. I hope that it will help things out a lot at home! Take care of yourself, I hope that headache goes away soon!

Tara, I am not shocked about the Christening gown. A tradition for some is to actually use an old bride's dress. Makes for some gorgeous gowns!
And pity we will miss for that day, but I am sure we'll be able to catch up!

Honestly I dont' usually do schedules... Alan kind of made me do his, so I did one off of his really. I'm lazy what can I say :p

:wave2: Hi KarenB
I am all for the Haunted Mansion!!!! THough I want PotC next :teeth:

Rose Mary, did you have a good time despite the loud & totally mumbled lyrics? I love Freebirds... how did that one turn out?

I am going to see what Cleo is up to... probably no good :p

:wave2:

Just have my column and another story to write -- I'll get up in the am and slide them in.

My eyes are burning from lack of sleep! :guilty:

Paula :Pinkbounc - glad the session went well!! :wizard: to Chris for his driver's test.

Lainey - I like the skirt - and it's not too short! I love the boots as well. DD bought a pair of them. I remember being thin and having boots like that!

Nancy - I was a bad girl -- I dashed off to Wally World today to get a break from deadline.

Rose Mary -- my store wasn't crowded, thank goodness. That's one reason I decided to pop in there today. I'm trying to get everything done before the crush of shoppers begins! :faint:

Praying for Liz's Dad.

Hello to Suzanne, Shep, Tiara, Boo, the two Karens, Alan, and TC. :love2:

Hi All,

I cannot wait to get this temp bridge in tomrrow. The tooth that broke that was holding the other one is ripping up my mouth big time every time I eat or drink anything. I wish she would have filed it or something on Friday.

Lainey I LOVE that skirt. You will look lovely in that outfit. Its not too short at all.

Pam Im glad you are close to getting done with everything. A trip to Wally World is a great diversion from deadlines LOL!!! I was at Wally World myself today. Had to pick up dress clothes for my eldest for Symphony pictures tomorrow. The kid is growing out of EVERYTHING. I bought him new shoes today size MENS 7.5! He isnt even 12 yet!

Tara Im glad Ellas Christening went well today. Babies are just so beautiful in their christening gowns. I have seen so many that just look like tiny little brides dresses they are so ornate and beautiful.

My prayers and thoughts are still with Liz and her dad.

Welp I better get the kidlets into bed and asleep for the night. Both have been awful about going to sleep the last couple of days and they really need the sleep for school tomorrow.

I will checkin laters.

HUGS TO ALL!!!! :grouphug:

Whew! I missed my flight the other night--left my ticket in my other jacket and had to go back and get it! Dave got us a very nice room at the GC, so all is well ;)

The truth of it is I've had a very busy weekend and am looking forward to a very busy week ahead, too! My manager was thoughtful and figured I wanted to try to get my whole 40 hours in before leaving for WDW--so we can afford to eat after all!! Good thing I love my job ;)

Lainey, the skirt is adorable! I had a closet full of them back in the 60s--I had the boots, too!! It is truly amazing how fashion has come full circle. MGM on Sunday sounds good, we'll give you a call. I love the parks at night and am really looking forward to that EMH.

Hey, Rose Mary! Glad you're back home in your own bed again. That bed hopping can really wear a body out, can't it??!! ;) I can certainly sympathize on the music thing. And you were subjected to it LIVE?! At least I only have to put up with it on satellite radio at the store and I can tune it down sometimes. Looking forward to seeing you SOON!!! When do you expect you'll arrive? Feel free to give a call if you need someone to hang with, we are planning MK for all day Saturday.

Oh, Paula, I'm so glad to hear the counseling session went well and your DH has even agreed to go back! Doc is so right--trying to be the UN can really wear ya down. Better to try to maintain a more neutral position. Sounds like you got a good handle on your Christmas shopping, too! Couldja do my shopping for mem while you're at it? I don't know WHEN I'm gonna find time.

Tara, that Keys to the Kingdom tour is WONDERFUL!! Dave and I took it a few years ago and absolutely loved it! So nice of your mom to give the boys a "climbing day" and let you take off on the tour. Just think how well they will sleep that night, too! Can't wait to see ya'll again. I bet your little monkeys have grown so much I will barely recognize them!!

Hope you've managed to keep your head above water today, Pam. What happened to your floaties? Don't tell me you loaned them out again!! Do you want me to google some pictures for you to fill some of the space on your pages?

Aww, Lily, I hope your back is better! Not a fun place to be, I know, and it's so hard to get your exercise in when the back is not right. Way to go, getting in 8 miles!

Suzanne, we have CRT at 1:00 on Sunday, but would love to meet up with you and the family sometime when you are there. Have you decided which park you all will be visiting, yet?

Todd!!! Been missing you, buddy! Were you able to save the fish? Oh, a word of warning, fish don't play baseball very well. My younger sister found that out the hard way when she was 15......50 gallon aquarium.....took days to dry out the carpet!

Well, I need to do a little scrapping tonight--couple of projects for the store, I promised Jacque I'd finish at home tonight. So, I'm off to find my scissors and glue. Ya'll have a great evening! :grouphug:

Back in the house. What a day! Going to bed to read now. Have the esophageal manometry procedure at Cleveland Clinic tomorrow a.m. Will check back after.

Hey all!
Lainey, love the skirt bet it will look great on you. I picked up a pair of black boots when I went shopping Sat. but, now kinda wish I had gotten brown. Probably have more things to go w/brown. Oh well, another reason to shop some more ;) . Of course, I will be wearing mine w/LONG skirts to hide my fat knees/thighs. Did have a really fun time even tho' it wasn't MY kind of music and Freebirds was the name of the place where they played.
Bethie! Can't wait to see ya'll real soon. Don't work yourself too hard before then. I probably will try to ketch up w/you guys on Sat at MK. I was able to get the Keys tour w/Tiara on Sun but Shhh don't tell her yet. :teeth:
I am just sooooooooo excited about this trip I can't sit still :Pinkbounc  You guys just don't know how bad I really need this down time!
Must have been Wally World day for all of us.
Pam- ours is NEVER empty unless you go at the butt crack of dawn  I usually do try to get there earlier but, I kept getting side tracked w/phone calls and trying to find recipes for Thurs. One day I will get organized again, yeah right! :rolleyes1 guess I will put it on my New Year's resolution list, AGAIN!
Oh well, off to LaLa land. Night all!

Hi all, back from church again... tired so this will be short!

First of all thanks... it just feels short to me. I'm sure it will be fine, but I have to be careful when bending over... a straight skirt wouldn't move the same way up if you know what I mean ;)
It's cute and I already have the black boots to go with. I just bought a brown pair today. I love boots like that! They go with a straight skirt I bought (brown corderoy) and the camel colored sweater. Very cute actually!

Pam, if I ever remember being thin, I'll let you know... that's something I don't think I have ever been!

Good luck at the dentist Karen!

Bethie, I hope the money will be good for you ;) Don't work too hard and I will look forward to seeing you on Sunday! Just a week now

Lily, best wishes to you tomorrow. I do hope it all goes well.

Rose Mary, that is why you go back and get a brown pair! A girl can never have too many shoes :teeth: Oh duh, here I was thinking the song Freebird and not a place Freebird... oh well

I need to scat... see ya!

Evening, all. In the thick of all that can go nuts in a retail store during Thanksgiving week! :) That said, tomorrow is *supposed* to be a day off, but I volunteered to come in so that we can get the 500 pounds of potatos that are squeezed into the 100 pound stockroom out to our offsites!

So, can someone explain why BaB has Frosty wearing a winter coat? A Snowman wearing a coat to keep warm equals a puddle on the floor with a coat on top! :rotfl:

Tara, did Keys a couple of years ago and LOVED it...I don't walk in the middle of Liberty Square anymore! Perhaps I'll get to see you and Rosemary soon.

Bethie, MGM at night is sooo much fun during the holidays. The night we got over there last year was a nice cool (for florida) 56 degrees. Felt like I was back giving cave tours, lol.

Lainey, if ya got it, flaunt it. The skirt looks nice. I couldn't wear it, but if I could, I would! NY&Co loved me-the pants I brought to change into at work were missing a button, so I had to go over and get a pair of pants. Of course, this means I had to make full use of my coupon, so I bought two shirts, too!

Pammycakes, I hope the workload eases up and you can join your yaya sistahs.

Alan, not a big fan of Freebird. I do enjoy 'Gimme Three Steps' a lot more.

Lily, hope those aches and pains ease up and the doctors have good news for you.

Karen, good luck at the dentist!

Back to work at 6am, so shut eye needs to happen.

Suzanne

Morning!

Love our new home!! :bounce:

Saw the HP movie on Friday after the kids got out of school. We missed most of the big crowds. Movie was great, but they left alot out. :(

Prayers for Liz & her dad.

No nephew this week. They are in FL. I think I'm gonna go back to bed when the boys leave for school. :teeth:

Do you want me to google some pictures for you to fill some of the space on your pages?

Yay! Dave and Beth have arrived!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: Meet me at It's A Small World in 20 minutes. We're going to force Lainey to keep going on this ride for eight hours.....

Oh Beth, you don't know how close I was to calling you on Saturday and taking you up on your offer to google pictures for me! The Production Team forgot to scan ALL of my photos! :earseek: I go to start the paper at noon on Saturday and I have NO photos! :faint: And I couldn't contact anyone for a couple of hours!

Boy was I mad! I finally got the pictured around 5 pm. Yep - that's 5 hours behind schedule for me.

Well -- I have to dash - still have to write that column and story and get to the office by 9 am!

:wizard: to Lily! Hope your procedure goes smoothly!

:wizard: to Karen - hope the dentist gets you fixed up!

Rose Mary - I went to the small WalMart about 9 miles away - the Super Center that is 20 miles away is always hopping. It's like a zoo in there.

Suzanne - ha! That sounds like something I would do - well, I have a coupon and it shouldn't go to waste, let me fill the cart up!! :rotfl:

Sherry - I was wishing I could scoot back into bed this morning, too! That is my favorite thing to do!! :teeth:

Now that is something I hadn't thought of before, but really made me laugh :rotfl:

I admit I am getting lucky, since I no longer work, NY&Co hasn't gotten much business from me. Actually a lot of what I try on doesn't fit anymore. Oh well, i did have some great finds from there at one point at least :teeth:

Sherry, glad you got to see the movie & miss crowds! Honestly I think what you said about leaving a lot out is exactly why I won't read the books until after the movies. We have the first three or so... I just haven't touched them (I like to read series from start to finish in one sitting)

Pam, little you know... I love IASW!!!! And DL's from the outside is awesome! I am dying to get on it at WDW now that they redid some of it. I think Kimmie is one we'll have to tie up and see if she can handle. I also love WDW's El Rio Del Tiempo... I'm crazy!

Not sure what I am doing today. I really ought to get to cleaning & packing while I can. See ya!

psst ya'll come here....I have a secret...don't tell RM but I heard from through the grapevine that she and I will be sharing a keys to the Kingdom tour!!! but don't tell her I know...I think it's posed to be a secret!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
