ya'll I have to share with you what a cruel mother I am Ethan climbed up into my desk chair, its a nice one with arms that turns in circles...knowing that he is not like hi brother and he becomes very dizzy...I decided to spin him in the chair a few times and see what happened.

The poor kids eyes nearly stuck sideways and when I stood him up he promptly fell on the floor giggling. He looked like a little drunk whose eyes wouldn't go straight again! I know it was cruel but it was funny!! It was even funnier when he climbed back up in the chair started chanting "agin agin" and grabbing my hands!!

sorry I thougtht it was funny!! I finished the first layer of primer and just need to wait a few more minutes for it to dry and then I can do the second coat!!

oh and mom is feeling better. She realized it was one of her meds that she was taking. She quit taking it for a few days and she is fine now. (it was a preventative for another problem she has and when the problem is not acting up then the meds were making her sick. She will take it again as soon as the flare up occurs but until then she seems to be fine....if not I will drag her sorry butt to the doc myself!!!)

watching paint dry is quite an experience!!

nice editing Alan!! Of all the things you could have made it say...that is probably the least likely to get any of us in trouble!!!

oh and the primer is not dry yet...I did the touch test....ewww not dry yet! few more minutes of staring and it should be done!!

Paint alert....first coat of "Homestead Cream" is on the kick plates and the ends of the cabinets where the quarter round will go.

Now to get a shower, eat dinner and go to my league bowling...no gutter balls tonight!

evening gang,

back from bowling. My team won but we tried really hard to lose tonight. Guess we weren't successful. We are currently in first place but there are some sandbaggers on a couple of other teams (I don't know this for a fact...just heard from a couple of different people) and at the end they come back and beat the daylights out of everyone...they keep their handicap low and then come back with games over 250! oh well...i'm enjoying being in first place!

now for tomorrow I'm leaving Kimmar in charge she will have to double post for herself and me because I will be having a scraping marathon day...oh wait let me tell you what a dork I am....I planned the date and emailed Susan and Astrid and told them about it. Unfortunately I told them it was for the 28th not the 21st...oops! Luckily there's only one that can't attend I called and got Susan and Astrid on the list for next week...and I added myself too The upside is that I get to scrap for a while next friday too!!

Anyway, since I won't be here Kimmar will have to post for us both!!

Howdy, all!

Busy week, let's see if I can recap all of it:
Tire was screwed, 1000 bucks later there are new tires and a tune up. So much for buying every topper in sight when go to DL.

Neil's new meds are working so good that we're increasing the dose-woohoo!

I worked my last 16 hour day yesterday-I get my assistant for 4 of five days. I was told tonight to see who I can make a keyholder, yay. I've got to figure this one out: three good candidates (of the six employees hired), but each has limited availability once school starts. Hmmm, gotta figure it out before Assistant and I take vacations.

Today was Kevin's b'day and we're celebrating Sunday at Sea World. He got to pick out something at Toys R Us today. You know, as much as I feel like I'm letting the kids down by not having a wrapped surprise, they love getting exactly what they want.

Ketchup, anyone?

Tara, now why would anyone want to sandbag? Is there a decent money prize at the end of leagues?
