Magic Kingdom Fireworks Party & Disney Starlight

It was blazing hot that night so we went back and forth to get a snack while waiting.
Oh wow! I did not know that was an option (to go back and forth). Thank you for your insight! I'm with you in the sense that I'm okay with being further back, as long as its in an enclosed area and I'm not fighting 10 families for a single square foot of space.

Glad you enjoyed the party. Now even looking more forward to it!

We did Treats and Seats last night - had a table for two at the wall directly under Tinkerbell’s zip line. We could see the parade from afar, but I wouldn’t consider it prime viewing. Conversely, we watched the 11 pm parade from Frontierland a few nights earlier, and that was spectacular. We would have missed a ton of details if the dessert party was our only viewing of the parade.

Zip line? What zip line?? You mean she flew directly over your head.....!

My “current” plan is to watch HEA from Fantasyland (I know, no projections) then hop over to liberty square and watch the parade from the porch near LTT.

Not who you asked.
Yes, stuntwoman Tinkerbell flies down from the top of the castle on a zipline. It's a very nice scene! She waves her wand as she flies, and the lights on the trees below her path twinkle in a way that it looks like pixie dust were falling from the sky.

So can you see the parade from the viewing area for the dessert post party? do they let you in the viewing area before 9?

We went last Monday and did the after-party in the garden. We checked in about 8:50 and they let us go right over to the garden. While you couldn't really see the street dancers/waver-of-flag performers (or whatever they're called) that well, we had a fabulous view of the floats. The floats are REALLY tall - I think being a little further away gives you an advantage to standing curbside. I can't stress enough how uncrowded and comfortable it was in the garden - making for such a pleasant, care-free experience. The parade helps kill the time now that the fireworks aren't until 10. It all went so quickly - parade, fireworks, then treats. We left right as the 11 PM parade was starting so was able to view some of it again while walking out. (This time getting to see the flag wavers.) We missed the crowds leaving after the fireworks and hopped right on a waiting resort launch. I have been making party reservations for years but always canceled thinking it wasn't our "thing". Glad we finally did it and will never do it any other way now.
