WAKE UP, EVERYBODY!!! :cheer2:  :cheer2:

C'mon, I'm the first up today? No way!

Suzanne

Good morning y'all! I forgot that the stronger allergy stuff I take can knock me out. So that's why I was fuzzy and decided not to post yesterday afternoon. Cleo is here on my lap helping, so if there are lots of typos, blame the cute black fuzzy here :teeth:

Have little things to do around the house today, but I think Luis will be gone this evening so I have plenty of time to do it ;)

Bethie, I am glad you had a bit of a lazy morning there. And got to wear sneakers! I know with my job, our simple pleasure was us wearing jeans. It was so nice to be so laid back ::yes::
No Graeter's dinners, but I am seriously in the mood to have a DQ lunch :teeth:

So Judie takes everything but her kitchen help? ;)

Since the dogs are terrible at folding maps, is that why Rebecca has you? You do seem to be a bit more trainable in that aspect :duck:

Tara, out of pure curiosity, when did you get to see PotC? I think I see it enough for most people. Luis claims I am obsessed (8x for one movie in a theater isn't that much, right?)

Lily, come on down and watch PotC2 with me and have some ice cream! I think I will be a golf widow tomorrow. Actually I think I am going to catch the early showing of Devil Wears Prada.

Not a cruel mom at all, Tara! And apparently E liked it so much he wanted to do it again!!! Glad that your mom knows what is causing all her stomach pain. I just hope she won't have to take it for a while! Enjoy your day of scrapping!

Sherry, you need to be like me, get a little device that can let you read books and play online... oh wait, that's a terrible idea. I've been awful with my reading lately

Suzanne, sounds like you have been a busy lady lately!!! Good luck deciding who will be the keyholder. I did catch things this time that I missed before. Just little bitty things... and I let myself focus on things that I knew could be big for the next one. I doubt you will have to wait long for it to come out on DVD though. I imagine they'll want a Christmas release date and then they'll want to make sure we have plenty of time to watch them all before releasing the final one in May.

oh and geez... you scared my poor kitten this morning... she jumped off of me (we were playing) when you woke us all up :rotfl:

Morning all......

Announcement (not to be confused with Tara's declaation of paint status...)

MY SON BOUGHT A CAR......

:scared1:

Now this is my son so I'm sure you are expecting a story to gowith this....he bought it from his friends uncle - it's a 1999 Mercury Mistique....now the funny part.....
As of todays paycheck he will have enough $$ to pay or the car....will ahve to work 2-3 more weeks for the $$ to register it and insure it......and lets not even think about Sept when he's not working.....

Oh.,...that's right he has a plan.....to get a job delivering pizza with his friend....

Insert me taking deep breaths into a paper bag right now......

part of me stressing out about him not being able to afford this and another part of me saying "this does not effect me - I really don't care of the car sits in the yard because he can't pay the insurance". And another part of me really hopeful that this is just what he needs to prove that he can be responsible

Did I mention how much I love my teenage boy?????

No Ketchup till later.......need COFFEEEEE :surfweb:

Paula, it will either be a good thing or at the very least, a growth experience for him. ;) I hope it turns out well.

Sunzanne, great ketchup :thumbsup2

Lainey, why yes..I was already paper trained when Rebecca met me. :)

Good morning y'all!

Morning all.....

Things are kind of depressing here, but I know God will get us through them. Please pray for my nieces and nephews...the main ones needing it right now are Michael (18), Ryan (16), Tiffany (16), Brian (16) and Ricky (13). If you have extra time pray for the rest: Jake, Steven, Lauren, JT, Brad, Andy, Ryan (other side of the family), Keri and Jacqueline. It is amazing when you have worked so hard to not follow 'family heritage' and you see others falling into it.

Other sad news is that my main manager is moving to a new position in the company. We have been together for the last 4 out of 5 yrs. We work very well together. I am hoping to find a non-support role. I an tired of calendaring and travel :badpc:

Paula...2 of my nephews bought cars in the past 3 months. My siblings feel your pain.

Suzanne..I feel your pain with vehicles. Both the van and car were in the shop this month. I have looked on the bright side and feel very fortunate with today's economy that I can afford to fix them. May you be very blessed with a big "topper sale" while on vacation.

Elaine...Todd is doing all day golfing tomorrow. I am hoping to attend a free Christian festival I just learned about a few weeks ago and get to the gym.

Sherry...How does the laundry look today?

Tonight we hope to go to the county fair...but this morning it was raining, not sure how long that is suppose to hang in.

Have a terrific Friday everyone!

DRAT!!! AND DOUBLE DRAT!!! Just lost my ketchup post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets try this again......

First a comment - made with love for my sweet brother in law...

You know you are a redneck when you are at an all day outdoor Country Music Fest and walk around the parking lot taking pictures of lift kits on pick up trucks!!!!! :lmao:

Amanda - I have plenty of room in my prayers for your neices and nephews - glad to include them. :grouphug: I hope your management transition goes well.

Elaine - I'll meet ya at the movies!! :drive: popcorn::

:sunny: Good morning to the early risers - Lily and Suzanne!!

Suzanne - I didn't get to nap after those long hours and unfortunately for some reason I NEVER lose power and my computer NEVER has any problems that take longer than 15 minutes to cure.....I'm thinking conspiracy!! :confused3
You surely have been working some long hours - I hope the choice of your keyholder is successful!!
:bday: Kevin!! Pick out something fun at Toys R Us!!

Tara....sandbag bowling? How successful can that be?? Have fun scrapping. What are you working on??
Loved the E. vs. The Chair story - smart mom you are - you have an at-home amusement ride!!

Kimmar....I hope Thindy remembered her aprons - !!!! :rotfl:

Sherry...if you run out I laundry I can help you thru withdrawl....always plenty here..... :laundy:

Pam - If Gunny want to borrow any books just let me know......does he prefer mystery or romance novels??
fhh_dog_book.jpg

Beth - home-made muffins - sneakers to work.....you are having way too much fun girlie!!

Alan - you comments about Pilot reading and folding the map had me is stitches...
Dogreading.jpg

and speaking of dogs - Alyssa gave Casey a bath this week - after many brushings she looks so pretty and much slimmer.....she's not fat - she's "big-furred"!! I bought her a new bed to celebrate - so far she just likes to lay next to it.....

:laundy: calls......later friends....

And of course ... and :grouphug: and :thumbsup2 and :wave2: to all!!!

....now for tomorrow I'm leaving Kimmar in charge  she will have to double post for herself and me because I will be having a scraping marathon day...oh wait let me tell you what a dork I am....I planned the date and emailed Susan and Astrid and told them about it. Unfortunately I told them it was for the 28th not the 21st...oops! Luckily there's only one that can't attend :( I called and got Susan and Astrid on the list for next week...and I added myself too :teeth: The upside is that I get to scrap for a while next friday too!! :woohoo:

Anyway, since I won't be here Kimmar will have to post for us both!!...

....I just.....can't handle.....this.........PRESSURE......ACKKK!!!!!!

Hi y'all... been cleaning my closet and my desk... OMG that stuff takes forever. I am now done so I better find supper and then take a shower

Paula, that was an awesome replacement ketchup! Good luck to Christopher with the car. I was lucky enough to have parents pay for the insurance. We all needed one to get to work, and they wouldn't let us work many hours during school so they thought it was fair if they paid insurance and gave us a beater. I later sold the beater for my dad and he gave me some of the profit for helping him get rid of the car ;)

Paper trained? Well that was better than expected ;)

Amanda, I will keep them all in my prayers. It is hard to watch family make mistakes that you know others have made in the past. Enjoy your weekend. Your day tomorrow sounds great!

Seems that Kimmar doesn't perform well under pressure :p

I need to eat something so off I go :wave2:

Had some errands to run and we made a trip to the library. Remind me to never stop at the grocery store when I am hungry and PMS'ing. :teeth: I came home with a candy bar, cheetos and pringles. :lmao:

Amanda, prayers on the way for your nieces and nephews. Sounds like a good day for you tomorrow, enjoy. And the laundry isn't *too* bad, yet. :teeth:

Suzanne, happy b-day to Kevin. :bounce: And we used to do the same thing with the letting the boys pick their own gifts.......they were much happier that way. :teeth:

Elaine, I finished the second book I was reading and started a 3rd. :bounce: I just need to squeeze in reading time whenever I can. Did you have a DQ lunch? That sounds yummy!!

Paula, congrats to Chris on the new car. I can understand your worries. I'll be facing all that soon. :faint:

Hi Lily! Doing anything fun tonight?

Hi Alan! Glad to hear you were paper trained before marriage. :teeth:

Tara, enjoy your scrapping day. And yay for another one next week!!
We are going bowling tomorrow.....I suck at it, though. :teeth:

LOL!!!
I'm not gone yet!...Can't seem to fall asleep! 8 hours till our flight!

Please...please TP my house!...I am low on TP  and could use it when I get home!!
Have a good 2 weeks everyone! See ya when I get back!!

evening all..just back from scrapping...

no time for ketchup but I have to let you know that Suzanne i did not appreciate the screaming wake up call this morning :teeth: Next time a gentle nudge to the shoulder will suffice!

And as for the Sandbagging...the first place prize is $100..so I guess that is incentive enough for some people!!

I am working on my 2005 disney trip. I finished pages today...and only spent $11!! :woohoo:

okay, my bed is calling. I'll check back tomorrow!

tara

Since Tara was so grumpy about the wake up call ;) I will just quietly walk in and say good morning!

Luis is off to golf and I might go to the movies this morning. He told me he wants to have dinner with a friend tonight, so I am a bit annoyed that he decided to do so much this weekend without me. But meh on that

I have to wrap a present today as well :teeth:

LOL, Sherry, PMSing and grocery shopping is a bad idea for sure! No wonder the DQ sounded good. And yep, I had that for lunch a small blizzard so nothing over the top.

Judie, I hope you have a wonderful triip!!!!!

Okay, Kimmar, now you can spill the secrets :p

Tara, I think that is kind of pathetic that you sandbag for $100... is that total? Because split 4 ways is nothing at all to shout at! Glad you got so much done today!

I'm tiptoeing in to not wake up the weekend sleepers.

Morning Ya Yas! Warm rainy morning. A great day for a walk and I did!
teeth.gif

Suzanne, no more java scent. Hope you managed to find the right key person. I hope Kevin had a great birthday and a bountiful shopping event.

Elaine, sorry for the ALL day bachelorette party you've got going.

Tara, so I think that everyne in bowling should get together and dispense with prize $ and vote for a end of season party where everyone will have to pay less then. (I know, not going to happen, but an idea) So scrapping isn't expensive? I still think it is.

Amanda, sorry about the young family members. Prayers for all.

Paula, I hope it works out for Chris and you. I go through my kids worries all the time. More recently though for me.

Sherry, I'm wondering what is wrong with your choice of food group? Mmmm

Morning!

Rainy morning here. Need to run to a few stores this morning, then we are going bowling. It is 2 games and a beverage for free, through DH's job. :bounce:
Then we are passing out some invites to some family members.

Elaine, I say next weekend is totally YOUR weekend. Do whatever you want and leave Luis at home. :teeth:

Tara, glad your scrapping night was productive and you didn't spend much. :)

Lily, glad you enjoyed your walk. :)

Morning, all.

I'm popping in to say hi! while I'm printing labels in my ahem 'office' (more like a supply closet, lol!

Hope everyone has super weekends, and I'll check in from home later!

:wave2:

morning, everyone. It's my day to be grumpy. This bod is getting old and I don't like it. Came home from work last night and it took a good 4 hours for my feet and ankles to stop hurting. I've lost weight, so I know that's not the problem. I'm working the crop tonight, closing after midnight and then tomorrow is the all-night inventory. I just wanna hide under a rock until it's over. Then I can get back to the fun stuff of helping people design invitations and scrapbook pages and other neat projects. I get to make the Haunted Houses for the Halloween feature set, too!

Suzanne, I'm taking a girlfriend down for my dinner prep session on Monday evening!! Can't wait to get my hands on that Peaches and Cream French Toast!! Good luck with the new key carrier and all. That will help you cut back on your own hours, won't it?

Yay for the scrapping, Tara!! I haven't worked on any of my own stuff since you were here! Too busy making stuff for the store and gifts, I guess. WTG on only spending $11, too!!

Amanda, I'm so sorry about the need for prayer for so many family members. It seems my prayer list just keeps growing and growing. Too much dysfunction and illness, these days.

Whoo-hoo for free bowling, Sherry!! What a treat!! And thanks for the reminder--I have a few stores to run to today, too.

Sometimes a walk in the rain is just glorious, isn't it, Lily?! I can remember begging to be allowed to go out in it during the summer when I was a kid. I love the aroma of wet earth and growing things--makes me feel so alive! Then my allergies kick in........

Sorry about having to spend your day alone, Laine. I think a movie is a great way to make up for it! Whoo-hoo on the blizzard, too. We don't have any DQs around here any more.

 for ya, Paula. Can't believe Chris bought a car!! But who knows, maybe this is the kind of thing he needs to keep his feet on the ground, so to speak.

Well, Dave is :happytv: old Batman reruns!! I need to get some errands run and he was thinking about a visit to Red Robin to get his free birthday burger. So, I think I'll say so long for now. Ya'll have a great day! Mad love all around and :grouphug:

Hi y'all... still waiting for Luis to come home. The Devil Wears Prada was cute. Far better than the book which is what I was hoping for.

And this guy was pretty easy on the eyes too
Adrian%20Grenier-3.jpg

Lily, glad you could get a walk it. We had pretty heavy rain until about 7:30 or so this morning. It even woke me up at one point last night. LOL, I'd probably enjoy the day more if I hadn't been woken up at 5 am

Sherry, I hope you enjoy bowling! Sounds like a great deal! Oh and I have all day to do what I want and leave him at home... that's why I like weekends... I get to usually see him ;)

:wave2: Hi Suzanne! Don't work too hard!!

Bethie  I hope you get some relief from work soon. That just doesn't sound like fun! But woo hoo for you on losing weight... you must look simply mahvelous now ;) Poop on no DQ's near by! I am not sure I would be happy with that. Every once in a while a good blizzard is what I need.

Kind of tired... might take a nap. Waking up early on weekends is not my favorite thing to do.
