third time to post and stupid server busy have lost all my ketchup.
I have found a habit I am trying to make. (trying still) Copy what you are sending before you hit that send button. I’ve “saved” a few posts that have gotten eaten by the server busy monster if that back button doesn’t work on you Mac. (I can’t believe I remembered you use a Mac)

Suzanne, that is such a great hubby brag moment. It sure sounds like you are enjoying this business. I am happy for ya.

Betty, as you go through all your adjustments. Great idea about the class. Workaholic stuff, runs in our family too. I guess at least it brings home $$$.

Oh and I think the neighbor would have a lot of statues from here to help that house sell. I wonder if we go plant one in our yard and ask for long distance help if it would work?

isyne4u said:
oh crap that was sap...gotta go wash my mouth out with some Rum!!
Great idea…note to self…try to be more sappy...

Kimmar, all I can say now is awww man. I love your pics too, but when I scrolled down, much to my dismay it is telling me that “This Image is Temporarily Unavailable.”

Sherry, I am sorry that you won’t be making “the trip” this year. I didn’t know.

Ok, I “turned the page here and see that everyone is doing such great ketchupping, I must slide in on the rest. I’ve got to go back to the swamp and can’t continue just now…

Later kids…

HEY..now! First i get slobbered on and then I get slammed!

Okay, I know we are comfortable with each other and all, but I really don't need the details of your love life.

I'll have roughly 24 hours to get stripped, sanded, and tile down...oh sheesh no problem!! I can do it!

I'm sure that was supposed to be "tied down" instead of tile but my last statement still stands. :)

Well I spent yesterday afternoon playing "chase the woodchuck".

Now don't you get started. I just finished fussing at Tara. Sheesh, what is it with y'all?

However, your woodchuck story did have me :rotfl: I hope he didn't do too much damage.

Okay I'm a hug klutz too... how many people do you know fall down the stairs as much as I seem to... with laptop in hand too!!!

It's the falling up the stairs that impresses me more. ::yes::

Of course showing pics of me in a suit isn't something I always love doing... so maybe today I'll take some just on my bed.
And Alan, that means the suit alone on my bed... not me ;)

Darn, I really am predictable :( ;)

At least I made Kimmar laugh. Hey, wait..that wasn't a funny picture!

And Lily, I realized I didn't answer you yesterday. Those pics were just made by a friend with her digital camera. I was very pleased with the results.

Although it's only a summer job I am glad it's not a "mindless" one and at the very least it may motivate him to work harder in his senior year.

I did construction work during the Summers between college classes. It motivated me just fine ;)

Good morning y'all!

Good Morning!

Cleaning is all done, only have a couple more loads of laundry and I'm all caught up...but only for a day. :rolleyes1

Woke up this morning to a HUGE boom of thunder. Scared the crap out of me. :faint: Been raining ever since. :rolleyes1

Paula, was :rotfl2: over the woodchuck story. Hope DH scared him away.

Elaine, hope you catch up on your :laundy: soon. Its a crappy job, isn't it? :teeth:
And I don't blame your friends for always asking for cookies........they are yummy!! :bounce:

Betty, I might get desperate enough to try the statue thing if they don't sell soon. :lmao:

Hi Alan!

Kimmie, just for you. Glad you stopped in to share your words of wisdom. I really really hope you can find that good “fit” here soon again.
Thank you Lily!

Swamps, woodchucks, mooses, gator season... Oh Paaaam, where are you!?

What the heck is a woodchuck anyway? Those are real? I don't think we have those here. :scratchin *Snorks at Paula's woodchuck watching dog!* :p

Okay I'm a hug klutz too
Remind me to put on armor when hugging Elaine.

Okay, I know we are comfortable with each other and all, but I really don't need the details of your love life.
Oh fine! Take away all our fun!

Betty, more cheetos on the numbers. :wave2:

Suzanne's hubby sounds like a keeper!!

Quick Kutz. I think I have all of maybe three templates. :rolleyes2 Dopey purchase.

I'd bury a saint on Sherry's behalf but I don't have one. I do however have a funky looking gnome statue that belongs to my MIL. I'd be happy to bury him if it would help Sherry's quest to lose the ****y neighbor!

John your son sounds like a wonderful young man!

Tara rocks in the home remodeling department. Uh oh. Does that qualify as sap?

OMG I got filtered! Slap me silly and wash my mouth out with soap. I'm a baaaaad girl! Heh heh.

Huh. Didn't know that was a bad word. It has two o's, for those that are wondering.

Okay storms passed... we were having power flickers and to save my computer from a hard shut down, I just turned it off :)

Paula, I so love how your DH thinks :rotfl: sounds like he would be great in our family. Ours is known for calling each other on vacation... during the winter... from warm places "So how's the snow? Oh it's 85 here" I like that :teeth:
Good luck to Alyssa today with her orientation

Lily, I've tried to get into the habit of saving posts too. I sometimes forget though. but they also said that they hopefully fixed a problem last night. I hope that really does fix the server. We'll see this afternoon I guess

Um Alan... I have fallen up stairs... don't ask, it is possible

Sherry, woke up to the same thing here as well. Scared the living daylights out of Gwen though. Wasn't easy to get her to calm down and go back to sleep.
I'm laughing at the image of you sneaking into their yard to bury one of those statues. Wonder if there is a saint you are supposed to pray to as well to help with home selling ;)

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Btw, a woodchuck is the same thing as a groundhog :)

But yeah, where is Pammy? I miss ya oodles and oodles!

Kimmie, we always knew you were a bad girl ;) I remember come across the Boo Boo type filter before ;) Though that does remind me, I do miss our lilboo!

As for not hugging me, twit... I'll be sure to make sure I plow you over with a hug the next time I see ya :p

Okay, but remember...you asked for it.

Remind me to put on armor when hugging Elaine.

Is that leather armor from the TOJ? Will there be pics?? :hyper:

There, is that better?

And with that, I have to leave for the day. Enjoy your evenings. :wave2:

OK, here is goes....I am trying to keep up with all of you.

Alan - your daughters are beautiful and I love your posts and your sense of humor

Beth - Yeah, you thought of a good reason to put Kim in the kitchen.....call the Fire Department....now why didn't I think of that.....WDW dates will be listed below....you may be a little happy!!! I know I am

Suzanne - thanks for all your encouragement and experience. It helps me a lot

Kimmar - I can't see the picture either.....I :surfweb:

Sherry - sorry you are having to put your trip off. Cars suck!

Elaine - You will be an Elder Ya Ya when you are the same age as me. I will be 50 this year!!!

Lily - I love your Harry Potter analogy.....you are smart

Paula - My DD is going for placement testing this Friday and her orientation is next Tuesday. Hope Alyssa gets a good schedule. I also love the name of your son, Chris. Only really great mothers name their son's Christopher. Do you think that the names Alyssa and Allison are close to enough to prove that we are double great mothers?

The cookout was great. They had hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob and smores!!! We supplied meat and buns and the other kids brought the other stuff. The whole cookout was halted when they realized that they forgot lettuce, tomato and onion. So a quick grocery trip was made. My DD is not a great grill person so a "new young" boy helped her out. She and her boyfriend of over a year and a half broke up and this summer has been the summer for trying out new boys with no relationship ties because of leaving for college in early September.

AND.....the dates that Betty Sketty will be in WDW with Mr. Sketty is November 3-6....that covers the first weekend of November. I am so glad that an Elder Ya Ya has espn or is it esp when it comes to WDW trips and seeing Ya Yas.

Oh I am getting so senile......

I have been hugged by Elaine and if she is a "Hug Klutz" then I will take a klutzy hug from her any day.

Woo hoo! We barely overlap in our dates (I leave the afternoon of the 4th) but hopefully we'll find some time to meet up. Even if it is the night of the 4th for Asti and pizza ;)

Alan
get your mind out of the gutter there. If there is any leather flying around, I will be sure that you will be far away and no pics are taken. Bad bad boy ;)

I am glad to hear that the cookout went so well. Good luck to Allison with her orientation. How far from home will she be going to school?
And yeah, I think you two are doubley good moms ;)

Played with phones more. Not sure what I will do. I think I have a front runner right now but I need more reviews on it before I decide for sure.

Elaine, we are definately meeting somewhere at sometime at someplace while we are in the same World. I will PM you with details

DD is going to Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. It is a two hour drive from home.

Betty, got your PM and I left out a good detail. I'll be at the Boardwalk... well unless our waitlist goes through and then we'll be at the Beach Club.

Speaking of which... I know we have a lot of floating days for Ya Yas (as in there are a lot in and out that week). Does anyone want to try for as many as possible in one day (or more than one day?)

And good luck to your DD at Shawnee. I knew one person who went there and loved it (and before anyone jokes, I only knew one who went there total) Any ideas on what she wants to study?

DD is majoring in Early Childhood Education (K-3) and will be working on a deaf studies certificate.

I would like to meet a few Ya Yas while our time at WDW overlap......hey what great planning, we are both at EPCOT resorts.

Tired, but checking in real quick

been beading with friends, stayed too late

talked to my dad, he IS joining us at WDW :)

John, you are so bad... I'm sure Alan will comment come morning

Oh and Betty, GMTA on location. Actually my dad should be staying where y'all are :teeth:

Just checking in quickly, been another loooooooong day and I'm even more pooped than last night. Luckily, only one person signed up for the class tomorrow, so the girl who is teaching the class (one of my other managers) says she doesn't need me to cover for her on the floor while she's teaching. so I get the day off!! Well, except for the evening when we have to go set up our booth at the scrapbook convention that is in town this weekend.

Oh, and good news!! My district manager called the other store here in VA and demanded they send one of their managers up to help me next week so I won't have to put in 57 hours!!! Yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

Paula, sounds like the job is going to be a great learning experience for Chris! Hope Alyssa was able to get everything settled to her satisfaction at orientation, too.

Hug Klutz......where's Bonnie with the Ya Ya dictionary when ya need her??!!! I love the new term!!

Just don't understand how a fella like Alan, with his mind in the gutter, can turn out such adorable princesses like those girls of his!

How many statues do I need to bury? Facing north and west, towards Sherry's soon-to-be EX-neighbor, right??!! Bummer about having to postpone the vacation, though.

Kim, you must be careful what you say! You KNOW how easily Alan gets confused

 Lily Can I loan you a paddle or maybe even a boat to help you out of that swamp?

Ugggghhhhhh, I'm sure there's more, but the brain is shutting down fast. Gotta get some sleep. G'night, sistahs and bothers!! :grouphug:

Evening, all! I'm here with my comfort and ginger, though just 20 oz, not the gallon I mentioned yesterday. :)

Very long day again, but very productive. Went out and did some meet and greets to sow the seeds of my store. It was fun! Y'all hear me blather on-Bethie can tell you how I am in 'sales mode'. Bethie, take my hyper Disney Store and multiply it by 5!

Not only do I have a day off, Ed's got one, too. Woohoo!

I'm going to make a very scary attempted at ketchup, because spending 28 hours in the store in 48 has taken the edge off my concentration abilities.

Bethie, woohoo on that day off. I've got a CM consultant working for me-and I'm getting baaaaad ideas about venturing into scrapping. I've resisted so far! Italian Chicken is good-you'll like it! (Ed was nice enough to save me some Pasta e Fagioli)

Betty, Brava to your DD (good major, IMO). Hey, we go through things in life so we can help others down the same road later, neh? I'm up for meeting at WDW in November! (I'm pretty sure we'll have AP's by then)

Lainey, I don't need you to model the suit, but I would like to see what the bikini wearing woman would choose these days. :lmao: Except for the crappy signal Cingular bestows me with, every Nokia I've had has been great.

John, you think Alan needs you to remind him to have his mind in the gutter? :rotfl:

Alan, is there an inventory list for that TOJ? I didn't realize it had leather in it. Pssst, please don't tell Ed about that TOJ or he'll want one for our house.

Sherry, sounds to me one of the other yayas needs to smuggle you in their luggage to get you the trip this year.

Paula, DH is practicing on the woodchucks? Good idea-they're smaller and faster than the moose, if he can bag one, NO PROBLEM getting the moose, lol.

That's where the page ends...I'll be back in the morning. Sleep tight everybody!

Suzanne

These two are totally quotable!!!!

::yes:: :rotfl: :teeth:

And woo hoo to the new manager!! I am so glad you won't have to be nearly killing yourself working so hard! I hope you enjoy the day (mostly) off!

Thank you Suzanne for the reminder. Since the storm really distracted me, I forgot to do the pics. I cannot even imagine, though, how tired you must be after all that work!

Imagine this. I take a day off more or less, from my computer and my wrist hurts as much as it did while working. I don't get it

A good morning to you all... tired and wish I could be back in bed, but oh well... :wave2:
