I figured camping in the infield of a track would be best done in an RV. Probably with big #8 stickers.

My girls may be getting interested in camping soon but we have no gear whatsoever and I'm not sure about investing too much.

We enjoyed Friday night at the principal's house. They had a bon fire going and hot dogs, chili, etc. Everyone had a good time.

Otherwise, the weekend was nice and relaxing.

There will be no #8 stickers. There would be 6 stickers, but he won't be driving the 6 next year. And yes, believe me, I do hear a lot of requests for an RV! Ed's been going to races and staying in the infield since he was 10. Now, Kevin is such a salesperson, the RV dealer offered him a job-if the employee discount is good, who knows?

Sorry that everyone's feeling yucky-I hope we're not in the same boat. One of the other boys was sneezing ON me and Kev yesterday. Sweet kid, but he doesn't know you're supposed to turn away when sneezing!

Kimmar, thanks-I've got lots of Halloween toppers, so it was hard to choose.

Paula, thanks for the milk jug tip. We might actually have one finished by the end of the week. I think I'm going to spring for the jugs with the water in them already.

Headed over to Target this morning, the sheets were gone. Then Walmart, where we got a new cooler (wheels on it), a canopy, snackage, and a griddle top for the cook stove. We've been looking everywhere for a case for Ed's iPod and the 80gig accessories haven't made it out yet.

The tent came with a deck of cards, lol! We need to bring other stuff. I was joking that I would bring twister. We never did use it for it's original purpose, but the kids like it.

Off to work I go!

Slept this afternoon, so I am feeling better. I don't feel quite so stuffy as I did earlier. Amazing how a little sleep can always do that to you.

I don't have much time as supper is almost here, but I wanted to stop in at some point

I will be absolutely no help with the camping... my idea of camping is renting a cabin in the woods

Woo hoo for others who will only go on whimpy rides with me. Though, is Splash Mt whimpy enough for y'all?

Hello, all! Back from ding-a-ling rehearsal and trying to wind down a bit. Been another hectic Monday, but I'm thinking I wouldn't really want it any different.

Todd, you'd asked about Liz: she and Greg have been living in a little bitty apartment while waiting for their new house to be completed. No internet access since July 1st!! They should have gotten moved into the new place by now, but we're playing phone tag at the moment--our schedules just don't mesh any more.

Glad the nap helped a bit, Laine! Gotta get the bad germies out of the system in time to head south, ya know!! Are ya packed yet?!!

Suzanne, primitive camping is gonna give the boys a rude awakening, ya know!! But it may also give them an appreciation for electricity, air conditioning and other "modern" conveniences they currently take for granted. Speaking of your work, I got the monthly newsletter today--prices sure are taking a hike, aren't they?!! Sooooo glad I reserved our Nov session last night!! Gonna hafto skip Oct cuz it's all booked up at the times we're free

Tara, so sorry to hear the cold hasn't loosened it's grip on yer nose yet. Sending lots of and I've got chicken soup in the freezer, if ya want. Hope you get to feeling better real soon! I'd say you did pretty good scrapping that many pages, though, even while feeling under the weather!

Paula!! I'd completely forgotten about freezing water in the milk jugs! We used to do that so we'd have water that tasted decent to drink, too. How was your visit to the chiro this morning? Does he provide immediate relief for ya? I've heard so much about chiropracty, but never got up the nerve to try it.

Rose Mary!!! Yes, yes, yes, we'll see you in a couple of weeks! Check your PMs! Sounds like there will be quite a few of us sitting out the "rough" rides. Can't miss Soarin' or the Haunted Mansion, though!

Howdy, figured I'd pop in with the Liz update: she and Greg are busy moving. I'm also playing phone tag with her, bue it's understandible with moving! I did get a PM the other day asking to be Boo'ed-same old Liz!

I miss Nancy around here, and figured it had to do with that thing a few months ago.

Bethie, we had a minor hike (9 and 15), but the costs have gone up roughly 40% in two years. Still a good deal, IMO. Of course, I'm biased.

Thanks for the updates on our missing.

We did not get out last night because there was more homework to do but we finally got it knocked out

The girls are out of school at 1:30 on M-W-F so that helps

It's been a light rain here for about a day and a half now, but it's warm enough not to be miserable.

Thanks for sharing the pics Amanda. Y'all are a beautiful family and that really looked like a fun day.

I had an appt with Chris' counselor yesterday - for myself - very enlightening - a bit difficult - learning "tough love" - in case you haven't guessed - I don't have a tough bone in my body - I shy away from confrontation and just hold everything in....I have to go back with Chris on Friday.

Hi y'all! Had errands to run today and now trying to deal with cat situations. Leia is marking... I've been trying to break her of it, but no luck so far. Not something either of us is willing to deal with in all honesty. I have a feeling a dog person raising kittens was not a wise idea

Beth and Suzanne, thanks for the Liz update it has been a while. Though Suzanne, Nancy not being around happened at the same time but was brought on by something else. Sometimes we all need to step away from things.
