I know what you mean about getting closed in Amanda, but hope the furniture gets resolved.

I'm gone for the day, so y'all have a good evening!

Amanda...glad the leg thing is an easy fix!! I hate it when you have to return somthing and wiat for them to get the pieces.

RM...sorry you had a meeting this morning! I hate starting off my days like that...blech!! Glad your ds' team won! Our MS cheer monkeys always go to the away games. (Astrid is the coach and she calls them that!! hehehe) Glad DS' finger is okay! as for the kahki....I think I get to wait awhile before I have to wear it! hehehe

Alan...behave yourself at home! Don't make us come after you!!

Gonna be here late today I have 4 kids for detention this afternoon!! fun fun!!!

back later,
tara

Been a day here.... started with singing at a funeral and kind of snowballed. Nothing bad, but I'm tired and not really chatty.

So cruising through and mad love to all

Howdy!

Ed's back at work, making his meals. I'm sitting here DISing, while Kevin watches the live action Scooby Doo. I can't believe they got PAID for what passes for acting in this one! :rotfl: Thankfully, I did NOT pay to view it!

RM, so is the tough guy going to let you take him to the doctor for that finger now that the game's over?

Amanda, oooh burritos. That's just one evening, you've got new furniture for a while. Yeah, takes a few days to get used to things 'closing in'.

I actually got to talk to Liz today!!!! They're moved in-unpacked is another story. She has lots of time, I've been in this place 18 months and still have a garage full of boxes.

Paula, sounds like you've got Harley the 3 year old!

Lainey, :grouphug: I was there yesterday-Mom's birthday.

Tara, LOL on the cheer monkeys!

Back later.

Suzanne

Been a day here, too. Ran errands and did bookkeeping today, got home in time to pick up Dave to get some dinner before choir practice (that he had to video tape for the director). Home now and just finished folding the laundry in time to say good night. Hope to have more time tomorrow night! Mad love all around and :grouphug:

Morning all! Yesterday was no fun because after watching the kitten and her habits with marking, we knew what we had to do. If she was marking, she wasn't happy. I wasn't happy either... I've been trying to break it since Friday when she peed on the bed... it was just getting worse. So.. we're back to two. She was way too aggressive and dominant for this household as it is nearly unheard of for girls to mark territories. That and she may just never play nice with other kitties.

Suzanne, I can totally understand about your mom's birthday. Never fails to knock the wind out of me on those kind of days.

Bethie can you imagine, only about a week more to go!!!! I need to get packing!

Sleepy here... hopefully can nap later ;)

Morning all....

Came to work late. I have been fighting headaches, clogged ears and sinus pressure for almost a week. Just couldn't make myself get going until the clarinex and excedrin kicked in.

Who's up to help Mandy with her homework. I need a volunteer for her class to send you Flat Stanley. The requirement of you is that you will take pictures and either mail them back or e:mail them to the class...then forward Flat Stanley onto someone else's address that they provide. I believe postage will be given, if not I will reimburse. She has to give one name and address, but if able I would like to send extras incase other kids don't give them. We need to not do KY or OH.....so who lives in the other states and wants to help???? PM me your address if you are willing.

Everyone seems to be having difficult days....mad hugs to all of you. :grouphug:

Suzanne...thanks for the update on Liz.

Elaine...sorry the kitten didn't work out.

Gotta get to work!....

Flat Stanley can't go to Disney with us? :rolleyes1

Elaine--sorry about the kitty, what a pain that must of been..you get attached to the little guy & this happens.. :guilty: ...I guess our cats must have been a little older when we got them cause I don't remember anything like this happening...:duck:

Beth--choir practice.? :dance3: I was just telling Amanda i thought about skipping sunday..Bengals game..but I think i'm reconsidering..

Sherry-- :wave2: another one becoming a teenager soon.. :goodvibes

Pam-- deadline week? :surfweb: ..not sure what that means but can't be good..

Oooooh, Flat Stanley! My SIL did that for Neil and it was so much fun! I'll PM you, Amanda-he can get a Florida tour! I had that allergy thing going on last week-hard to work when your head feels like it wants to explode

Lainey, :grouphug: I'm sure it wasn't easy to make the decision to let Leia go.

Bethie, :wave2: I was joking while on the phone with Liz (she heard me saying I'd go get whole wheat bread) that she needed to let you know you can have the Raspberry French Toast with whole wheat.

Hi, Sherry!

I want to go back to bed, but today's the last chance to get some stuff for the camping trip. Still need the table, a fan and to grocery shop.

Suzanne

Todd, you sneated! Yay, WDW trip-although I'd be willing to bring Stanley over there and give him a preview.

Pammy's deadline weeks means she hasn't skinned enough critters yet-she's gotta work double time to meet quotas.

Oh darn, oh darn, it's off to work I are(n).

Flat Stanley getting a tan in the dog days of fall...?.. :teeth: ..cool!..

Beth--drive safely..

John sneated.. :wave2:

Good Morning!
:rotfl: TC, I are(n) at work,too!
Dang it, work interrupted my Dis'ing. :sad2:

Suzanne-Nope, can't get the thumb checked out until after the next game on Mon. But, he said it felt a bit better last night.
Lainey- Sorry bout the kittie situation.
:Pinkbounc  8 more days and I'm off :tinker: :goofy: :smickey: :tink: :donald: :teeth:
Amanda- Hope those meds have kicked in and you are getting to feeling a bit better.
Shep- I didn't know you had a fan club
Tara- :rotfl: cheer monkeys?! That's a good one.

:wave2: to all I missed.
On to work, work, work!!!!!

Morning!

Elaine, so sorry to hear about the kitty. :(

Amanda, hope those meds kicked in and your feeling better.

Rose Mary, :woohoo: for 8 more days!! Keep an eye on DS's finger. Jordan jammed his finger and it got worse and he ended up with an infection. It was gross. :scared:

Todd, yes, another teen. :faint: Makes me feel soooo old. :rolleyes1

Suzanne, I get the same way on my dad's b-day. :(

Tara, cute Jarrod story. Glad you enjoyed your ice cream. :)

Hi Beth! Hi John! Don't work too hard. ;) :teeth:

Good morning y'all.

We went to see Abigail's pediatric neurologist for the last time yesterday :(

He is leaving his practice to go back into acadmics and teaching at hospitals. There are so few doctors who specialize in autism and related disorders that he believes he can do more good in sending out more.

We will have to go to Florida or Georgia to find another doctor who follows the protocol we have been using (primarily nutritional) so we will probably start doing more with Internet research, etc.

We were spoiled by having someone so close who could personally oversee her progress.

But all is well :)

Alan,

Next time we're at Neil's doc, I'll see what she can come up with in your area. He goes to USF and they're really bringing him along. We had another great doc here who took Neil's interests very seriously, but insurance changed. We LOVE our doc and hope that she stays at USF once she's done with her residency.

We've found that those who work in autism keep themselves aware of others in the field-more than other specialties.

BTW, have you been to www.aspergersyndrome.org? There are some great links and the message board is very helpful.

Suzanne

Yeah, the kitten stuff was not fun. It is very rare for a girl kitten to mark her territory. Our vet did say that kittens raised by hand can have a ton of behavioral problems though and be prepared for that. She just does not play well with others and is far too "out of control" to try to raise with two adult cats. She'll do better with her absolutely passive sibling or alone in reality. She's a cutie so I am sure she'll be fine.

Amanda, sorry about your headache. My sinuses have been horrid the last few weeks. I think it is this fun weather stuff we've been dealing with. I'd help on the homework, but I'm in Ohio of course. Though I would take him to WDW :teeth:

Hi Todd :wave2: We only had male cats mark in the past. One we had to give away the other we dealt with. I won't be doing that again!!! In reality I know she will be happier not here too.

Thanks to John and Bethie, I have "Ho Hi, Ho Hi, I'm such a smurfy guy" in my head now too :p

Rose Mary, tell them to knock it off with work ;) You need time to play ::yes:: I hope your DS's finger won't be too bad by the time he goes in on Mon!

Sherry, you have two teens? No way, you are too young for that ;)

Alan, good luck finding a doctor. I hope you can get one a bit closer to y'all.

Suzanne, good luck getting ready for camping!
