Everybody.
Sounds like we have the same weather everywhere = gloomy. We really need some rain bad! We're down like 12 inches or so but, hopefully not this afternoon. DS has a football game at 5, 2nd to last game. If they win these last 2 they will be Division Champs. Kid calls me last night and says "Mom guess what? My thumb is either jammed or broken. I'm
ask if we need to go get an xray and he's "NO, if it's broke I can't play in the game" Wacky kid! It didn't really look broken, I think it was just jammed kinda swollen.
Yep, only wimpy rides for me! And yes Bethie Haunted Mansion and Soarin' bunches. Oh and POTC,
Paula- Hope you are taking notes on this tough love stuff. Think I'm gonna need a few lessons myself.

Glad to see the plans for the WDW trips are going well!! I'm jealous!!

Feeling better today. Still a little foggy in the head but I do feel better.

I went bowling last night and did really well...above my average all three games (152, 137, 154).

We have boy scouts tonight. Suzanne..I'm a committee member now! I'm the scrapbook chair person I told them I could do that one (actually it's just me doing it...I'm chair of myself...so I guess that makes me the high chair, the easy chair, the arm chair, and the electric chair!! )

RM...I'm having a Healthy Choice Bourbon Street Steak with garlic mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, and peach cobler. Yum!! Not sure how good it is, haven't tried this one before!!

hugs to all...I'm gong to skip the big ketchup today and I'll get back into it tonight and tomorrow!!

Glad Liz and Greg are finally moving into their new home.

Wish I was planning a WDW trip. I am trying to talk DH into a Disneyland trip before the end of the year. Have not been succesfull so far.

Just finished some school work so I thought I would poop in for a bit..

Had Cub Scouts tonight and at the end of the meeting as i'm sitting there in my brand new Tiger Cub parent t-shirt the den master comes over and sits down across from me. He proceeds to tell me how we need some one to be the "caller" (I can't remember the word he used) for the PTA flag ceremonies. You know, the person who tells everyone to stand and then to call the flag bearers up and and then lead the whole darn place in the pledge. I'm looking over my shoulder the whole time he is talking directly to me to see who he is talking to...um it was me...so guess who is the new PTA flag ceremony person?? Then someone said that since I took that PTA chair on the committee that would make things so much easier...um no, I did not volunteer to be the "chair" person...just the speaker...They all laughed and told me that what I agreed to do WAS the PTA chair So now I'm the chair of the scrap booking and chair of the pta. I think I'm in for it now!!! But I'm not wearing tha darn kahki colored shirt...yuck!!

Headed to bed now. Talk to you all tomorrow!!

Have they changed things since I was a Den Leader back in the stone ages? (Okay, the 90s.....) I had to wear the yellow Scout shirt and blue pants.

Once my son and the rest of the den became Webelos I Scouts in 4th grade, I switched over to the khaki shirt and green pants.

Rained ALL day yesterday! Some of the creeks blew the banks. Supposed to be nice today and then thunderstorms for tomorrow, rain Friday, nice Sat., rain Sun. and Mon.

Rosemary! Is your son still in Scouts? Funny about him saying his thumb is just "jammed." I would be on the floor doing a slooooow death if my thumb even had a paper cut!

Between the computer wires and the plants in my office I must have said "no Harley!!" about 500 times already this morning - hopefully she is tiring herself out - hahaha.

We are not a scouting family but my nephew just got his Eagle Scout and my godson is preparing for his now also.

ya'll are killing me!! Suzanne I wouldn't mind being your kahki twin but I will be next to my former step sister and it does nothing for her!!

I don't know what the uniform for the adults is supposed to be, but the Tiger leader wears the kahki and so does his wife. I figure with my luck I'll look as bad as she does.

Anyway, I forgot to tell you all how sweet my son was last night (apparently during the night, however, he was replaced with Damien!). After BS and the PTA meeting we had to go deliver popcorn and while we were heading that way he says to me, "Mom I fink dat we should go to Max and Ewma's for some ice cweam. It was willly noisy in the meeting today and I fink you need some quiet time. Just vhe two of us." So how could I resist. We went to Max and Erma's and had two ice cream sundaes from the sundae bar (and I wonder why I can't lose weight! ).

Okay, I guess I better hit submit so that I can see what I've missed since 830 this morning!! Back later,

Nope khaki doens't help one bit!!! (I have all kinds of responses but I'm afraid I'd break all kinds of dis rules!!! )

Good Morning/afternoon or whatever time of day it is in your neck of the woods. LOL had a 2 hr meeting right off the bat today and now my whole day is outta whack!

DS's team won the game. They were some boys. It was really fun. It was an away game and all the "regular" parents showed up so we were since for some reason the Middle school cheerleaders don't travel w/the team.

Pam, I'm w/you big wuss here over even a hang nail. But, there he is getting off the bus at the game and I walk up and he says "I think it's broke, can't even tuck in my shirt". Mom says " You gonna play" DS says OF COURSE and gives me this look. But, I KNOW I just KNOW he really wants to cry to mommy and for her to make it all better. Dontcha think? When did he get so grown up
And no Pam, he is no longer in Scouting tho' I wish he were. I had no back up from his "male" parent whatsoever.

Tara- You are sooooooo sweet to volunteer for all those positions. And I'm sure you will look lovely in Khaki!

Uh oh, outta time. Lunch over. Sorry, nothing interesting to report on lunch today. Wasn't hungry. weird Now I am..........Oh well, I'll make up for it somehow.

Tara...how sweet? I would have taken the girls if they said it that way.

As for the furniture, 2 legs had the wood 'chipped up'. 1 leg was missing the plastic piece on the bottom. Easy fix thankfully.

Tonight I am off to my Dad's for homemade burritos. I won't get to enjoy my furniture. I have to say that I feel closed in now that my main floor has furniture. It was so open before....Not sure which I liked better, empty rooms or full rooms
