Kristy, I must admit for the most part I am cheap... especially when it comes to things for me. Our house came stocked with total POS appliances. So slowly but surely we've replaced them all. Next up is a fence. We wanted to do that maybe this year but I am not sure about that. We want to do it ourselves, but Luis hasn't made any effort to go out and price it all. I think the only other thing after the fence is carpeting... and hten our house will be good... but we got a great deal on it so I can't complain to much! And when we first bought it we hoped to have this all done by now, but with Luis' job thing, we got very side tracked and all improvements had to be put on hold

Hush it Nancy, I don't like to shop for *me* Like I hate shopping for clothes & shoes and all that!!! The house, now I could dream and spend a fortune on things for the house... but fortunately I don't

Oh I wanted to tell you all this... I went in looking for a stove and I admit, I did good since I hoped to spend $400-600 on it and I only spent $400. Well, the dishwasher I knew was next up to be replaced and they told me about the same as cash thing for that too.... so with out consulting my husband, I bought it Of course keep in mind I have been hinting about it for quite some time... but I didn't pick up my cell phone or anything and check with him. So after it was all said and done I get in my car and call him. I told him he was going to kill me and I told him what I did and he laughed at me He said he didn't blame me since he hated the dishwasher too But I have never gone out and spent more than $50 w/o consulting him first
