Well I put down the deposit today. I wound up opting for a June use year instead of the Feb. use year--it just made more sense to me because I know there would be no way I would use the points before Feb. anyways and wouldn't be able to bank as many with a Feb. use year as a June use year. Plus, considering when I travel, it made more sense to me to have a June use year.

Nothing is completely official yet--we will finalize all of the details when I'm down there in Dec. I am meeting with them on Dec. 7th.

JRKaren, I hope all goes well for you. I hope to be able to say "welcome home" to you in person next month. The use year was mostly a non issue for me since I travel during many times of the year... nothing would have easily worked for me. I currently have June though.

I just love the thought of being able to travel w/o a lot of the worry of room costs now

Breezing thru between work and babysitting at church. Yes, it was a busy, busy day today and tonight I get to play with my little princesses!

Yippee for JRKaren and DVC!! I say all us DVC owners chip in points one of these years and do a Ya Ya meet at WDW! Can you imagine a couple of 2 bedroom suites full of Ya Yas for the weekend??!!!

Pam, loved the purse/beagle story! I wouldn't know a beagle from a hound, either. But it sounds like fun was had, anyway!!

So Sherry is our resident turkey cooker?!! Count me in!!

Okay...I got the bathroom pictures done
I have to tell you about having dinner there.....I was up and down a lot taking pictures. Well, everytime you get up, your busboy refolds your napkin I kept him very busy
I had heard to go look at the bathroom....and take pictures. So I did. Took the vanity and the stall doors.
Then later, when I had to actually use the bathroom. I saw inside the stalls. Who would have thought

Hey Bethie, what happened to that idea of getting a GV at OKW or the like? Actually I was just talking to my dad about going to WDW next year. I told him I wanted to make sure it overlapped with a few friends and that if he wanted to join us, there is a bed for him... I think next year we will be getting a 1 bedroom... so he might get the couch, but meh... I know he'd love it and Luis and I would get some privacy

Hey all,

Feeling MUCH better today. Between the shots last night and the new daily arthritis medication Im doing a lot better than I was.

I had a very very proud mommy moment this morning. I was invited to an awards ceremony for honor roll students. I knew ds had made gold honor roll but what I didn't know was that he was one of ONLY TWO in the fifth grade that made gold!! The other student was the daughter of my friend and ds's classmate. Both of us were crying we were so happy and proud. He got a certificate and a banner with a medalion on it. I also met with his teacher prior to the ceremony because I have been concerned about some grades coming home for this marking period and we also needed to go over some IEP stuff and found that even with the few UH OH marks he has made he is still making all A's this marking period. I am SO proud of him. Getting all A's is tough enough but even harder for an ADHD kiddo.

Karen CONGRATS on looking into DVC and putting down a deposit!!! How WONDERFUL!!! The Boardwalk is such a pretty resort too!!

Liz prayers going out for you with your illness. I hope the doc is able to fix you right up. WOOOOO HOOOOOO on going to Hawaii!!! I can't wait to see pictures. I would LOVE to go there someday but alas I don't fly and I think swimming is out of the question ROFL.

Sherry what a sweet thing for you to do to make a turkey for the needy.

Pam I totally LOVED your story and can relate to the small purse problems ROFL!!! I also carry the suitcase/diaper bag size much to my doctors distain.

However when I told Dave that the towels had "33" on them, you should have seen him light up and "need" to visit the bathroom. He was weating a suit jacket

Some one told me I need to take pictures of the new Mr. Potato Head parts too......so now I have another project

Maybe tomorrow. I don't think I have much planned then.

I have no Disney counter How sad is that?

DH is still at work. He was trying to get home and they called him out again. Seems he is traveling from one end to the other. He's been out and about well over 12 hours and I don't know how much longer. I feel for him as he is out for some difficult reasons right now.

I am not sure what I am about for the remainder of my time here. I got my hairs done tonight. She really shortened my look this time.

With all this talk about counters, I am so glad I fixed mine today!! I can only wish that someday soon my counter will be right there with the rest of yours for a YaYa December meet!! In due time I guess. On a good note, I hear there is a Dole Whip stand at the Dole plantation. Guess I will have to wait *patiently* until July for my nexty Dole Whip. And Lily, Karen and Beth...I am counting on you all having at least a Dole Whip or Citris Swirl for me whilst in the world!!! Thanks!!

I got a call from the hospital taday about the job. Now there is talk that the position I was hoping for has been put on hold....indefinately! So I am off to looking esewhere. I called the friend who reccomeded me for the positon and she could not believe it..well really she could...but she was pretty shocked about it all. I guess the director was very plaesed with me. Of course it is not the decsion of the director to put htis position on hold. She really wants it filled. So now I will wholeheartedly start the job search.

My friend, who is an RN also told me that I am very symptematic for having walking phneumonia.......I will be at the doc's office first thing in the morning. I have an appointment at 9. Of course thre is a certain maternal and grandmaternal YaYa that has gotten on my case..... so off to the doc I go. Actually, over 3 weeks of this is really enough.

Lily, sounds like the hubby has some long days lately. That can't be too much fun for either of you! Hugs!!

Lainey, sorry about your sinus headache. I totaly understand how you are feeling. They are just not fun. I have blown my nose to the point that it is raw.....I never had any idea the human body could produce so much crud!! Sleep well and feel better!!

Karen, glad you are feeling better. I am not looking forward to the very long flight...but I have decided that life is just too short to not enjoy it to the fullest. That being said, I am even packing my swimming suit. Yep, I am Pooh sized and white as white can be...there are parts of my body that have not seen the sun since I was little...but I am only gonna get to Hawaii once...so I am going for broke....besides nobody there will ever see me again. I am however, working on getting some of this weight off....I am hoping for 50 pounds over the course of the next 7 months! Hawaii is good motivation for that! So far day 2 of the South Beach Diet is going swimmingly!!!

Bethie, whatdidya play tonight? I wish you could come and play with me! The fun and trouble we could find!! Oh boy!! Since I have seen your countdown timer and you suggested a new sigie picture....I thnk you ought to change your siggie pic!! We haven't seen any pics for your last WDW trip....hint hint!!!

Hope to hear some good news form the doc.....and unfortunately this doc is not so cute...but he is VERY nice! Oh how I miss the cute doc.....but I am so happy to report that thte ankle seems to be doing quite well.....no arthritis meds anymore either!!
I am also doing VERY well with swelling too!! TC, I am goi ng to have to find my ted hose for you as well!! I don't think I need them anymore!! But I will get your present in the mail to you this week!! it just made me giggle and think of you!!

Good morning, everyone!

Thanks for all the well wishes in my big DVC purchase. I'm am very excited, but also a bit nervous about it. It's a huge purchase. But I know it will be well worth it. Everyone I know who is in DVC absolutely loves it--I haven't heard anyone say anything really bad about it. Hopefully I'll have the paperwork for review soon so I have time to look over it and digest it.

I don't have a countdown clock in my siggie, but mine falls in between Elaine's and Deena's (closer to Elaine's than Deena's). I can't wait! It's going to be so much fun to meet those of you I have not yet met, and to see those of you who I have already meet. I feel like I know you all so well from this thread, and moreso from chatting with many of you in the chat room! It's going to be a great week

Liz, good luck at the doctor's today. You forgot to talk about the sweet and intelligent much younger sister type Yaya who was bugging you about going to the doctor's and getting some rest Sorry about the news on that job--but I'm sure something amazing will open up for you real soon.

Nancy, that was quite the bathroom (although I have to say that the trash barrell took away from the ambieance of the bathroom. It just wasn't fancy enough. That toilet was crazy looking.

Lily, yes, I have to be out of Fantasia Gardens by like 12:15 so I can swing back to the Swan to head over to DVC. Good reason to hurry up a meet if you ask me
