Need some planning help for work trip 4-11 Oct 25.
Work schedule will allow a park visit on 5,8 and9 Oct. 4 adults 1 child (6).
Maybe 2 adults will go to the D23 Studios tour in Burbank??

Any help/thoughts on park selection and any tips for parks or the tour.

Been to WDW many times but DL one day several years ago (actually for about 4 hours).

Thinking about DL on the 5th, CA 8th and DL 9th.

Thanks for any thoughts!

You have a Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. Will you have park hoppers or single park tickets?

If you have single park tickets, one thing to take into account is evening entertainment. Fireworks, Fantasmic, World of Color might not be offered every night.

Will you be staying onsite or offsite? Are you planning on arriving early in the morning when the park opens? DCA will have early entry for onsite guests on Sunday and Wednesday. Disneyland will have early entry for onsite guests on Thursday.

Thanks for the response.

We'll be staying off property nearby at the Anaheim Hilton near convention center. We were hoping just to do a single park ticket to save some money but will consider hoppers.

We are rope droppers. The days slotted for the park we'll be there at opening but obviously will not have early entry available.

Just wasn't sure on crowd flows. Particularly on Sunday. Is it crazy busy on Sundays compared to week days. I know it will always vary but didn't know the trends.

You'd think so, wouldn't you? DL is a locals' park, so you'd expect LA/OC families to hop over to it on Saturdays and Sundays.

But...many of the locals have annual passes (Magic Keys), and the lowest-priced/most popular MK is blocked on weekends, so that keeps the crowds down. You can see all the MK calendars here:

Looks like your week is entirely blocked out for the Imagine Key and the 5th for all but the most expensive MK. However...October is an extremely popular and busy time at the DLR, so do expect big crowds. Just maybe not quite as bad on that Sunday.
