I saw the mousefest stuff and it does sound like fun and I dont mind meeting new people but I want to hang out with some Disers. I'll have to go check out the meets board.
I am one that likes the AS. We stayed at ASsports, the boys loved it and I love the themeing. They (the 2 little ones) would love ASmovies.
I'm getting spoiled and prefer the deluxe resorts and I bet your honeymoon room was awesome.+

Well, there should be at least one Elder Ya Ya at WDW during the first week of December. I am planning a stay somewhere along the lines of Thursday-Sunday.....I also believe that a certain Baby Ya Ya is letting me share a room with her...unless she has changed her mind....

Deena, do check the DIS Meets board, you'll see a few posts there. I believe Ray Sharpton has the most conclusive plans. Nothing is set in stone for anyone right now and I think we are still in summer mode before we go anywhere with it. So never fear, there will be PLENTY of DISers there and you are always most welcome to join for the day... official meet or not

Oh and a quick explanation of what an Elder Ya Ya is vs a Baby Ya Ya. An elder Ya Ya is one who is a bit older (biological age) that some of the others. You'll have to ask what age that is of them because this Baby Ya Ya is too polite to understand. Since I am one of the youngest and for a long while was THE youngest Ya Ya, I have the title of Baby Ya Ya. It refers to me being only 26 and I like to think it is a term of endearment I wanted to make sure that everyone knows this because I know there was tons of confusion in the past. It really is all about age and not longevity with the Ya Yas.

Deena - wow, I hadn't even thought that far ahead. Zachary's birthday is January 27,2001. I would feel so guilty bringing Zack and not Dylan, who is 4.

I think I was leaning towards a no kid mini trip. If I can even swing it.

Beth - Clay's cd is still tentative for 8/19 release date. We'll see if that's true.

Well I will tell you how old this Elder Ya Ya is....now no laughing. I am 46 and very proud of it. There are at least 2 Elder Ya Yas that are older than me and at least 2 Elder Ya Yas that are younger than me. I do believe that I was the first that told my age and then I became the first Elder...the rest is history.

Elaine will always be the Baby Ya Ya in my eyes......old habits are hard to break. I know that there are others out there that are younger but she was our first. Gosh I sound like someone talking about their first born, first crush, or first love. Guess you have an idea of how special this thread is to me.

Moonpies and RC cola are a memory of my childhood....Oh thank you for the reminder

I just love how this thread has grown and how many more DISers that I have met.....and to think it all started with Who will get the last word? Stupid me thought it was about really getting the last word in for the night I just couldn't pass up the challenge.
