Ok, there is alot going on in my little world right now. BIG, Big,
decisions to make. Like Beth I have been doing the job hunting thing. Had two interviews while in Fl. One with the Co. I currently work for at the office in Winterhaven and one with another Co. in Jacksonville. Was made an offer in Winterhaven but, turned it down. Would be much less money and for the same BS I already have to put up, plus some! Fell in love with the Co. I interviewed for in Jax. Much more business casual atmosphere, similar to the job I'm doing now yada, yada, yada!!!!! AND, I would be back in Florida, closer to my family, friends & of course, Disney!!!Yippee!!!!

So, now you all know why I have been so preoccupied. Trying to weigh my situation. Money vs Happiness??????????!!!!!!!!!
Happiness vs poor house????????????? Oh, what is a YAYA to do.......................................Better go sleep on it some more.

YAY Beth!!! All of my toes are crossed for ya while I'm here typing...and then the fingers will be crossed too. I would cross my eyes....but they might not go back to normal.
Rose Mary hopefully it will all work out and you can have money and happiness! But if not....always remember that happiness is what truely makes us rich, not money. (I know....I love the money too....it's a hard choice to make). I'll keep ya in my prayers.

I won't be around much tomorrow......it's moving van day at DS's old apartment Gotta sit there all day while the movers load everything up.
And then I'll be having company for a week.......DS's GF's kitty....we'll see how that goes. I think she will have to stay in the guest room. Don't think my 3 will like the company.

2bemarried- Roy Dupuis was on the show "La Femme Nikita" it used to be on the USA network. It was a group of people kicking the snot out of the bad guys but they weren't too nice either. Roy's character was dark and brooding and at times he was not that nice, but he sure was nice to watch!!!

I found my other cabana boy.

I like a man with a big sword!!!!

Off to keep the 3 year old out of trouble!!

Dd and I go to blows very often. So I was actually looking forward to a 2 week break, but I guess I'll miss her at the same time.

lizzie, I wish it were a day off. He is self employed. He is nearing the end of a contract with the state of Florida. He lives in Florida and I live in Cincinnati with the kids. He is here because he scheduled a physical with the doctor this morning and then he will be back home and working in the office. I absolutely hate it when he works here. He will not shut the door to the office and likes to walk around on the cordless when he is on the phone and that forces the rest of us to be quiet....hello this is summer and I have two teens....having a quiet house exists only in the morning while they are sleeping in.

However, we will be going to a dance tonight (Beth, it is at Coney Island) and that is a rarity in itself. He usually doesn't get home until 11 on Friday evenings.

I also have a DD age 15 and I know what you mean about their temperament. She can be so sweet and honest and open and then wham, someone ticks her off and then it is all my fault.

A dance, that sounds like fun. I haven't been to Coney Island since I was about 6.

Oooo, ooooo, Moonlight something or something Moonlight?? I remember my parents going there when I was a kid!!! We spent the day at Coney Island then we got to go to this little clubhouse where they showed us cartoons all evening while our parents were at the dance!!

BTW, it's still our fault when things go wrong and DD is 20 years old and not even living with us anymore!!! 'splaine that one to me, would ya??!!!!

Rose Mary, good luck with your job decision, too. I think I would go for Jacksonville becuz all the BS is not good for your mental health. And ya can't do a good job or be an asset to the company if your mental health is in jeopardy. Of course, I'm old and tired of all the BS--looking for a little peace in my life.

No word yet on my job situation--nobody has called here to check my references, either. Oh well, it's still morning..........
