Here's hoping the rain (without lightning and winds) comes to California soon! I'd send ours down but it has wind and lightning with it as a few little fires popped up around here.

I can't confirm that we will or won't be in California for the big wedding. We'd like to go but right now so many things are up in the air for September I can't commit to anything! We don't even know where Shaelyn will be attending school yet! But we are interested in making the trek down there for it.

Ken, that would be so cool if you guys came down! You could give me some DL photo tips! I tried taking some pics of the fireworks last night. They didn't turn out that well, but I'll keep trying.

I had a lot of posts to reply to, but had to shut down my computer abruptly this afternoon because a big electrical storm came in and I lost everything I'd multi-quoted.:sad2: I had a lot of rain here--I'll be interested to see what the official tally is.

Happy Anniversary, Marilyn and John!

I'm not exactly sure why folks are having trouble viewing the Happy Dance movie. Ken, you were able to view it, right? If so, it's not a Mac/PC problem. It is a pretty large file so if you don't have a fast connection that may be a problem. One thing you could try is downloading it and then playing it from your own desktop. You can download the file from the page it's on.

Tomorrow I take Bobby (the dog) back to Scottsdale. It's been lots of fun to have her and I know I'm going to miss her, but on the other hand I'm looking forward to having my time to myself back.

This Friday I'm going to DL with my nephew. We'll drive over Fri. morning and come back next Tues. I'm looking forward to being in the park. I was sorry I couldn't stay after the cruise and do the parks with some of the Thieves!

yes you can do the Happy Dance any day you wish. The requirements are that you just do it.

Paul cleaned out our wine rack and we have 3 bottles of cab to start with that he wants to toss out because they are really old. One is from 1982, it was a good year, the year we graduated high school. I bought it from the winery when I was in college, must have been in 1986 or so....I've told him we should make sangria rather than toss it out. Any one got any good recipes for sangria?

Unopened bottles of wine can be kept indefinitely if you store them so the cork is wet, which I'm sure you do if it was in a rack. It you're still uneasy about it, I have a great recipe for sangria.

SUPER late night for us tonight! Went to the Lansing Lugnuts baseball game and Tyler had a blast on the giant inflatible bouncy things and playground in the ballpark. As do most home games in the summer, this game had fireworks immediately after. Good thing too....because Tyler's dad told me he fell asleep right before the fireworks last night. They put on a great display tonight, as always. We didn't get home until 10:30, then my dad called, so of course Tyler had to talk to him a while.

THEN on his way to bed, he noticed this week's surprise in his fish extender. It was a bag of seashells (from our local dollar store), and many of them were the little white ones like what we found at Castaway Cay (Tyler says they're the kind that Ariel uses for "underwear on her chest" LOL!). Plus there were also a bunch of other kinds as well. I had told him that we weren't allowed to take shells from CC, so he told me tonight that Mickey must have wanted to make sure he had those shells as a reminder of our cruise. He said, "I'm SOOOOOOO glad I went on that cruise!" :goodvibes We had to take each individual shell out and admire it, saying how cute the tiny ones were and how pretty or cool the big ones were. That alone took a half hour. But of course I couldn't take any of that magic away from him, so I struggled to stay awake and "ooooooh" and "aaahhhh" at the appropriate moments. :rotfl2:

Tyler told me he never thought Mickey would bring him surprises after the cruise and just can't believe he's still doing it! He told me he wonders if any other kids from our cruise are getting surprises like he is. :rolleyes1 I just said, "Maybe!"

Oh my......sorry for rambling. Just overtired and running at the mouth. Goodnight all! Probably won't be here tomorrow....after church we're headed out of town to spend time with my dad because his birthday is Wednesday and we can't make the trip on a weekday.

Are you still coming in Sept? I want to see everyone.

I don't know what's going on with the happy dance. I could not get it from Lisa's link and then I went back up to your link and it worked. I tried her's again and it didn't work.

I love the moments when you talk about nothing! And we are not doing FE, Tyler is lucky. I do have the shoe holder up in their rooms for little toys and I love those things!

Oh, one more thing. Tyler's been wanting to start saving money to try to do another cruise. I told him I'd find a little bank for him to start his collection. Yesterday I found a cool one called the Amazing Money Jar, and the screw top has a digital counter on it, so it keeps a running total after every coin. He thought it was pretty cool when I showed it to him today until he asked me how much a cruise costs. I told him about $3000. He looked at me, looked at the jar, looked back at me and said, "I don't think this jar is going to work. That much money will never fit in here." :rotfl2: I assured him that whenever the jar is full, we'll take it to the real bank and keep adding to it each time we fill the jar. :thumbsup2 He's still doubtful, but it's good that he wants to start saving.

I need to have less people in my family :lmao: $3000.00 :scared1:

Good, I'm glad I'm not irritating the heck out of everybody! ;)

Well, the FE idea at home only started because he hung one up right away on his bedroom door as soon I unpacked it and it just seemed so sad to think it would sit there empty and he was still tempted to check it every day. Neither of us was ready to let go of the magic, so that Saturday when he came home from his dad's, I had something in it for him, just a little $1 item from Dollar Tree. He just couldn't believe it, and was convinced it was from Mickey, and it was so great to see that excited little face, so I immediately decided I'd make it a weekly event, every time he comes home on Saturday. I figure I can find plenty of cute things he loves at Dollar Tree and $52 for a year of weekly excitement is SOOOOO worth it! One week I forgot to get something and had to just throw a handful of Smarties in there, and that still excited him just as much. :thumbsup2

Very cool. I just took off my toe nail polish from the cruise because I was too sad to do it. I had to go to a party so it was about time.

Heck, I still have one suitcase with stuff in it, mostly FE goodies, because pulling something out now and then brings the memories back and makes us not so sad. :grouphug:

OK, I'm really headed to bed. It's after 12:30am!!!! I think it's safe to say we'll definitely not be waking up on time for church tomorrow. Oh well......sometimes you just need to stay in bed. :cloud9:

GOODNIGHT!

I know God, he'll understand this once.

Bring it baby....Paul is in the clean the clutter mode. Maybe he thinks his butt looks big :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yes, I'll be there in Sept. I can hardly wait!

Lisa's link didn't work for me, either. I don't know what's wrong. All I can think is that if people have dial-up, it might just be too big a file for them.:confused3

Cute! I'd want to keep the magic alive, too. It's over so quickly, enjoy it while you can!

I took mine off about a week ago. It just looked too gross since I'm wearing sandals or flip flops every day.:scared1:

I hope you are wearing flip flops. I can't imagine my feet in sneakers there :scared1:

I'm trying to picture his butt now..................

I'll PM you. Did you still want the Cabo stuff? I know I told you to go to trip adviser but I wasn't sure if you still wanted my info.

I spent most of the day today de-cluttering and throwing stuff away. I even have empty drawers now! That's never happened in this house! I keep looking in the mirror but my butt looks just the same. :rotfl:

Your butt doesn't need any de-cluttering, that's why
