Nope. I don't understand why I can't see this one when I can see your other one. Do you have something other than still photos in it...could that be the problem? I was able to view Nan's happy dance when it was posted here on the thread. Ahhhhh technology........

We've had storms here the last two nights...well, in the valley it's just high winds and lightning, but that's why I wasn't on line. I don't even know if they did any fireworks here last night.

I'm heading out to do some grocery shopping before it gets much hotter and I'm getting hungry too!

We have been out shopping and are back. We hit 3 stores, the green grocer, Jewel and Lowes and are now done for today. Sukie is working tonight, he naps in the afternoon.

It is another beautiful day here. Sunny and will hit a high of 75. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with myself for the rest of today.

Holly any fireworks your way? They needed to start them 1/2 hour early here as the storms were moving in quickly. They just finished and the skies opened up and it has been pouring for an hour now.

Hi Lisa, sounds like you stayed out of the rain. So did we. We got really lucky and found a parking space one block off the boardwalk down the main street in town. We were on a side road.....so we walked to the corner and sat on a bench and waited. We looked for you but never saw you. The fireworks were beautiful once they went off. We stayed for the whole show and then hit the car before the heavens opened up. We were so lucky.

Today is kind of a lazy day......just doing breakfast and showers liesurely in the room. Then we'll go out and see our land and Georgetown and maybe go back to Bethany Beach. If we make it out that way, we'll stop by and see if you're there to say hello. Hope you're having a fun fourth weekend.

While we were out and about last night, people watching while we were waiting for the fireworks, I kept looking for people wearing something Mickey......then I looked for green lanyards......I wanted to go up to the Mickey people and say hi, were you on the sip of thieves?

It is our 39th wedding anniversary today. Can you believe that? Almost 2 life sentences.

Can't celebrate as it is Molly's Christening, but we are at that age and generation that it doesn't matter.

However, I did get some gorgeous flowers.

It is our 39th wedding anniversary today. Can you believe that? Almost 2 life sentences.

Can't celebrate as it is Molly's Christening, but we are at that age and generation that it doesn't matter.

My computer is down engineer will come around on Wed morning to fix it as the modemn is broken. My neighbour helped me this morning and give me temporary wireless modemn. It is working now as missed it for nearly 3 days.

Jill, I am so sorry to hear that, because I know you had your heart set on it.

But, for what it's worth, I believe things always turn out for the best. It may not be possible to see that when we are in the middle of it, but afterwards, they seem to.

I know that there were jobs I did not get, and I realized, sometimes a long time later, that had I gotten the job, I would have gone done not the best possible road.

Thanks! I am exctied about UT. I didn't really let it get me down since I knew I have a really limited availibility. Plus I currently work with my best friend and she is moving around Jan. so we have the same days off to spend together. And as Kelly said I just keep moving foward.

Thank you Deborah. Just back from Molly's Christening. It was lovely and she looked beautiful and behaved impeccably - apart from when her mum dropped her head down on the font!!!
