MY NEW LICENSE CAME!!!!!!!!!! just in time for the pubcrawl tonight. Now I dont have to drag around my birth certificate and passport all night. Its all new, and shiny, and theres no giant red UNDER 21 on it. I am SO happy. Im running up to target quick, then ill take pictures and post them.

DD fell asleep on the couch listening to her new "iPod" (that's what she calls it!) so, it is already worth the cost right there!

The dryer has been buzzing at me, so I had to run and extend the cycle. No need to rush to get them out when I have time that is KID FREE!

The little one has been whiny all day. At work earlier, I promised that I'd snuggle with him when we got home.

I think the snuggle time has come. I could sure use a nap!

Oh, and yes, I take my toddler to work with me. It's a very complicated process. And often leaves me but he prefers it to the sitter. I was going to take him to the sitter the other day, but he wasn't feeling good, so I stayed home with him instead. We're going to give the sitter a shot next week, but only if DADDY drops him off.

I wonder if that puts me in another category. You know, we have the SAHM, and the working moms, does this mean I don't fit in with either of those crowds? The take-your-kid-to-work-with-you moms. TYKTWWY.

Ok, I'm rambling, I must be tired. Time for my nap! At least I'll be rejuvenated for the Lounge tonight.

Do you do this continuous for a period of time, or on and off? How long do they think you will have to do the treatments?



I am off the grocery store again-my second home. We are having fajitas with the left over steak from last night, and I need cilantro and more ice cream for DS8..Yes, I am a loser, spoiling mom, he gets ice cream every night he finishes his dinner. With chocolate syrup, sprinkles, whipped cream and TWO cherries. Go ahead, call CPS, I'll make one for them, too.

I am good. Today was just Radition. So a little roasting and I am good. I am worn out but that is okay.
I am coming over for Ice cream

Just FYI, I have a hole in my ceiling from a Rocket Fishing Rod. Those things are dangerous. Oh, and it wasn't the kids who put the hole there. It was hubby. I told him not to. He just couldn't help himself. Too much temptation and too small a brain.

As far as honor rollers -- I don't help my kid too much either. He's really smart -- except he doesn't try to be smart. He never studies, yet somehow he still manages to do good on his tests. He only puts the minimum in, which makes me mad, but he still gets good grades, which makes me proud.

He's one of those kids that hates school. He can't stand it. If I ask him what happened at school today, he'll say, I scored twice at football and got an interception! Or I was the high scorer at basketball today!

So I'll rephrase my question and ask, What did you do in class today? Ah, I dunno, just some stupid stuff, like every other day.

I will definitely keep that in mind. No there is no turning back, I gave in and promised they could have them..I don't have to worry about DH, He won't do anything dangerous in the house..he is too cheap, doesn't want to have to repair anything. Wow, I had no idea they were that powerful.

This is like my sons they are pretty smart. We don't study much, in fact it is like pulling teeth to get him to do the minimum daily reading, which we usually fall short of. When I ask him how school was, he always says, "Fine" which means he doesn't really hate it, but he would rather not go.

I would like him to enjoy school, but it's not mandatory for me. Just as long as he has a couple of friends, makes good grades, and stays out of trouble.

With your son, it's funny how he can hate something, but excel at it..

Apparently DH had a rough day at work. He's left work early and is having a beer with the guys from work before having dinner with me and some friends after which we're going to a going away party.

It should be an interesting evening.

OH yeah, I got my other book from the library today by that author I liked. It's called "We're just like you only prettier-Confessions of a Tarnished Southern Belle." Can't wait to dig into that one!

I tried to take a nap. Really, I did. Even the kids were cooperating. About two minutes into our snuggle, DS3 fell asleep.

The problem was...the couch. I looooooove my couch. But that's the problem. DS3 took all the cushions off the couch last night. I put them back on, but apparently, I put them on wrong.

Now I must have worn my body outline into the couch. And rearranging the couch cushions has disabled my outline. It seems like the last cushion (normally where my feet go) must have ended up in the center. So it's like the center cushion was higher than the 1st cushion and the 3rd cushion.

It just felt way weird. But I can't change it, because DS3 is sleeping on it. It was impossible for me to fall asleep on the couch with the hump in the middle.

And then my MIL called. On the CELL PHONE!! Anyhow, she was taking my workers into town to do their grocery shopping and get their checks cashed and stuff. She called me and says:

Um, yeah (in a snarky tone of voice), these girls (pause for dramatic effect here) want to leave with these boys.

I said, what am I, their babysitter? Let them go!!

They are twenty-something year old women. They have the weekend off. Does she really think I would (even if I could) stop them from having their fun?
