Wasting away again in Loserville-(all welcome to grab an adult beverage and come in)

I've got extra Coffee Mate in the veggie crisper if you are running low!:goodvibes

That's just great. Page 2 and you're already junking up the clean place!! Nat, didn't you get the memo? We're supposed to leave it all behind!
The other day, when I thought I was going to DC, I was rummaging through my closet looking for something to wear. I came across a small suitcase and thought, what's that doing in there? I opened it up. Yep, THAT'S what happened to all my underwear!

Apparently, I just threw the suitcase in the closet and promptly forgot all about it.

But I NEED that stuff!!!!

I store my seasonal clothes at my parents house b/c we have no room here- so I get all my clothes, then realize I am missing my shorts- so I go through all my boxes, dig in my sisters room, the attic, everywhere I can think of- I start to think that I might have given them away to goodwill on accident. So I look up in my closet and pull out a suitcase- yep they were in there?
OK, all you newbies, here is Slobbermouth all 160 lbs. of him...aka Mitch. Watch out he is a stinker and a drooler. And he can let that slobber fly farther than Hooch from "Turner and Hooch". It makes a great glue, because it doesn't come off of anything!
I love him!

MY NEW LICENSE CAME!!!!!!!!!! just in time for the pubcrawl tonight. Now I dont have to drag around my birth certificate and passport all night. Its all new, and shiny, and theres no giant red UNDER 21 on it. I am SO happy. Im running up to target quick, then ill take pictures and post them.
Yay! Have Fun!

WHOO HOO!
The dryer has been buzzing at me, so I had to run and extend the cycle. No need to rush to get them out when I have time that is KID FREE!:dance3:
Mine has a “wrinkle release” feature where every 5 minutes it turns on and flips the clothes around and then beeps- Sometimes I ignore it till that feature turns off too!
I'm hungry, not sure I can wait 2 hours until we eat. Maybe I'll go have a little bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios. It's my new "thing" this week. I bought a HUGE box on Tuesday and I'd say half of it's gone already.

I get into those kicks too- Right now my thing is PB & J flavored Cracker Sandwiches- yummmm

do we have bail and cab money? ;)
Hahaha- This was some of the funniest pages I have read on this thread yet!!

Marlin got a haircut yesterday and looks too cute! I thought I would share!

I wouldn't feel sorry for her if I was the brunt of all her crap. But I guess what I meant was that she was pitiful...I'm glad you guys are trying to help out with her son, it's not his fault his mom is like that. Is he a good kid? How much older is your DH?

He is 16 now -- only 18 months old when his daddy died. Hubby is 32. Hubby was the baby until he turned 16 and found out his mommy and daddy were having a surprise visit from the stork.

The 16 year old is a pretty good kid. He has a lot of his mother in him, but over the past few years, hubby has tried to take him in hand and show him the ropes of being a responsible young man. Hubby takes him on the crab truck everyday the kid isn't in school. He also makes it a point to reward him for "working" by taking him to Best Buy and getting him that video game he wanted, giving him a little bit of cash to throw around, takes him to the sporting goods store (I dunno if they'll bleep that name out) and lets him pick out all kinds of Under Armor clothes that he's been wanting, that kind of stuff. But the kid also knows that if he decides he doesn't want to go on the truck and "work" he isn't going to be getting that stuff.

The kid actually cuts my grass now -- as a payoff for me letting him practice his driving in my car. He's a good boy, and we try to do what we can for him. He realizes that things work both ways. If you want others to be good to you, you have to be good to them.

ETA: Of course, we also got him a cell phone. Last summer as part of his reward for "working", hubby got him one of those scooter/moped things to cruise around the island. And yes, we let him ride it before he turned 16 and even though he doesn't have a license.

Shore- for having the crazy MIL, sounds like she doesn't have much common sense or is it she doesn't give a damn about letting you know about the car and no gas.

Glad you and DH are there to help out BIL.

You guys are awesome. This kid would be in so much trouble without a man to guide him, especially with your MIL raising him. You are teaching him what a woman is supposed to be like. He would be in big trouble if you guys didn't step in. I'm sure she is clueless about how much you are doing for him.. Just remember, some of our rewards won't be in this life, you guys will be rewarded for sure!

Holy Crap Losers! 10 pages!!! I will go catch up. Wow--you guys have been busy!

Shore, your BIL is lucky to have you & your DH. It sounds like you've really got your hands full, but hopefully all of your hard work with him will pay off. It sounds like you all have got him on the right path!

Kate - just wanted to let you know that I know how you feel. I was always the baby of the group too. But, you know what's great? A couple of years ago, they were all turning 30 & I kept hounding them, reminding them that I was still in my 20's!!!! :woohoo: They all admit that I did get my revenge. However, now that I'm 30, I really don't get to enjoy it anymore. :confused3

Oh, and even though I completely looooove the pink shoes, I would definitely go with the black for that dress! ;) (Now, you just need to go buy a dress to go with those pink shoes! :goodvibes)

Marlin does NOT look happy.

I was thinking the SAME thing!!

he's got one of those "why must you do this to me" looks

haha- I think he is tired- The husband brings him to work on Fridays' so Friday afternoon he is worn out! That stuffed animal with him in the picture is his goose- he brings it every where he goes- If it falls out the bed at night he cries for it:sad1: he's so funny- Right now he is on the back of the sofa looking out the window at the cars passing

Oh my what a day!

My BFF stopped by to invite DS5 and I to lunch with her 5 year old and her 6mo old. Why doesnt anybody stop by when the house is clean:confused3 So we all go to lunch at Applebees:cool1:

Then i take DS5 to his bday party, he is having a balst , it is almost over, and he falls on some balls in this ball pit, shoot the balls playground thing and starts screaming and limping out of there. They give us ice to put on it. I start to walk him back to the room with the shoes and he is limping and playing the games, so I think no big deal. We go to cash in his tickets and he starts wailing that his foot hurts, he wants to go and he cant walk. So throw the tickets and the other dad and I try to get him to the car, he is screaming the whole time.

So we get to the car and I keep asking him if he is ok, he says no, I tell him we are suppose to go to DS10's baseball game. He says no he just wants to go home. I am thinking shoot of all nights I have to bring the snack, so I promise him that we will just drop it off and go home. He says through his tears, ok.

We get to the field and he changes his mind bc he sees his girlfriend. Well he gets out but he is limping. But we stayed he wanted to, he sasy it doesnt hurt as much but he is still limping. We are home now I and it looks fine but he is still limping, so who knows what it will be like tomorrow. I hope it it isnt serious. I never saw him flip pout like that in pain.

I need to go to bed. I am wiped out

I let the F-Bomb fly yesterday in the carpool lane.
Has anyone else ever said that word in front of your kids?
Nodding.gif
Just threw that one out the other day and DD14 cracked up. I try not to say it but some situations just call for it!

nope it was only an earthquake, shaking our bed like chef with a frying pan. (It's too early to make the Earth move, honey!) Thought we left those shakers back in California when we moved to the midwest 8 years ago!.
:scared1: You guys suffer any major damage?

Tink, are you wearing breakaway underpants?
I have to know what these are and where I can get a pair :lmao:
To be honest...I'd make my own if I needed them. (Yeah, that sounds good...go with that..plausible deniability.) Run to Walmart, buy a pair of cute but cheap panties. Run a razor blade lightly along the seams before putting them on.

Watch your man's face as you rip those suckers right off...:rotfl:

I don't clean...I gotta do something around here.
:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: TOO FUNNY!! My DH might be too busy laughing to do anything!

I've got extra Coffee Mate in the veggie crisper if you are running low!:goodvibes
I bought new creamer yesterday - black cherry strudel (or streusel or something). It's pretty darn good.
I only have fat free vanilla right now--not awful, but def. not a favorite. I like southern pecan and the hersheys chocolate caramel and the holiday peppermint from Coffee Mate YUM! It's so cold here today and I was out in the cold rain wind too much that I think I will dig out the cappucino machine and add a shot of Kahlua:thumbsup2 Just got to get DD to get it down for me--it's above the kitchen cabinets and I do no do heights!

I scanned that and only caught the bolded words, and I thought you made and innapropriate post.
Well. I refer to mine as 'the girls', but the twosome works, too!(I have a funny smiley but I can't post it here)

Now we are expected to exercise as well? WTH?? I am SO not running, even if it is after a van on blocks. That is just too much activity for me today!
As I always tell DH when we go to the gym--you can still run, but I am walking on the treadmill. As long as no one is chasing me with a chainsaw or anything, I am NOT running!

Oh, Linty...did I mention the Orlando pillowcases I saw the other day? They were on clearance at Claires...sure, I know you are too old for POTC pillowcases, but it was a headshot of your boy, so it would kind of like having him in bed with you each night...:rolleyes1 Anyways, just thought I would let you know that they reminded me of you...:lmao:
I am so going to look for those when I go to the mall! DD and I (I may be older than Orlando, but I still love him!) will use them and make DH roll his eye!

We can stick around if we can stand the smell. and drool.

Puh-leese! I live with a three year old who is perfectly happy to sit around in her own poop all day (Obviously makes her happy since she won't tell me when she goes, right?) If I can handle that, I am pretty sure I can handle Slobbermouth...or maybe not!:lmao:
:headache:

I got a couple of honor rollers this time, too! They want Rocket Fishing poles or whatever instead of cash..

just because my kids are on honor roll, don't kick me out of the club guys..They do this all on on their own, I barely help with homework. They don't get if from me, and most days I dont' thing it's from DH...now the mailman is pretty smart....:rolleyes1
Doesn't it tick you off sometimes when they don't study for tests and still do really well? Well, I am proud that mine are pretty smart, but it makes me think that the school is doing them a great disservice by letting them get by so easily. Don't get me started on this one....

Hi Kellie, how did treatment go today? Hope you dont' feel too bad.

Do you do this continuous for a period of time, or on and off? How long do they think you will have to do the treatments?

I am off the grocery store again-my second home. We are having fajitas with the left over steak from last night, and I need cilantro and more ice cream for DS8..Yes, I am a loser, spoiling mom, he gets ice cream every night he finishes his dinner. With chocolate syrup, sprinkles, whipped cream and TWO cherries. Go ahead, call CPS, I'll make one for them, too.
Can I come over for dessert? I ate almost all of my Quesadiilla burger at Applebees! DD had dessert, but I passed. If I ever get moving I am having that decaf latte.

I am good. Today was just Radition. So a little roasting and I am good. I am worn out but that is okay.
Okay all men share a brain:rotfl2:
Sometimes they even share it with our children!
Dumb.gif

Kate, you be a good girl tonight. You know that by joining this thread you adopted about 10 more mothers, didn't you? Very COOL mothers, but we want you to have fun and be careful. .

:thumbsup2 I know you're probably already gone but I re-iterate what HRH saiid!

Oh yeah, wanted to share this. When I got back in my car at the grocery store, I started it, then turned to my purse to get my keys out...to start the car..they weren't in there...they were in the ignition...starting my car!

What's up with THAT?? Do I need a drink already?

OH yeah, I got my other book from the library today by that author I liked. It's called "We're just like you only prettier-Confessions of a Tarnished Southern Belle." Can't wait to dig into that one!

Ciao, y'all.
I am going to get that at BN tomorrow because I promised DD a trip--she got $50 GC from her Papa and it's killing her not to have spent it yet! She begged me to go tonight but I was mean. I swear, she's gonna live in a bookstore someday. She just can't get enough.

Marlin got a haircut yesterday and looks too cute! I thought I would share!

Noooo! Becasue soon they will be going to 40 and you will still be in your 30's. That is much much better

OK--by the time I finish my marathon-quote post I'llhave to start all over again.

Looked all afternoon at cars. Drove 3 different vans. Now DH and I are at an impasse. I like the Toyota van better than the Honda or the Dodge, he likes Dodge. Any bets on who wins? When we got home we had to dash off to get the kids. He took DD to swim practice while I took DS to find hiking boots for his campout this weekend. Then we had to rush home, DS and I had to get them packed for the campout while DH went for a haircut (WTH!) I wanted him to cancel but he has his 2-week reserve duty tour starting on Monday and it needed to be done. The only alternative was a home-cut buzz. I used to do it all the time, but my hairdresser does a much better job! THen DH and DS left to meet the other scouts and I picked up DD from swim practice and took her to Applebees. It was good, too. Now I am being a worrier, because the knife-wielding scout is there, too, and because it is supposed to be in the 30's tonight and they are in a tent--and it may rain more too! I worry for my baby boy (even if he is almost 11!).

That was on vacation at Lake Huron in Canada this summer past. My dh's family reunion. Doesn't he look like he's having the best time, his name is Bruno and he is our youngest.

Glad you are fine, yes he is a very happy boy. DH says he's a momma's boy and he is right. We got him as a rescue and he was just2 1/2 months old and just 6 pounds, you could see his ribs, poor baby. As you can see, that is no longer a problem :rotfl:

He makes me laugh so hard sometimes, I just love the stuffin's out of him. Not to mention, not only do I love the stuffin's outta the girls, but they love their "furry brothers" (luna too, tho the big brother is the littlest brother).

Got to go to bed, I am toast.

Goodnight, I am sooo glad I found you guys. you are the best!
