so if you like these resteraunts that is your opinion but this is just mine. it is ok to have an opinion.

I think food quest is good. You get what you pay for there and it's always cooked well.

This looks like a classic newsgroup troll. Make a statement with nothing to back it up and never defend it.

As an example, I personally do not care for Sci-Fi at this time. We've eaten there several years in a row and it is time for something different. Not that the food is bad, it's just that is has gotten "old" for our family. But I would recommend it for someone who has never been there.

Wow...that's a lot of negatives on restaurants. What are your reasons for posting that they were bad? I have over 20+ disney trips and have eaten at many of the ones listed, but no really bad experiences.

Please give us reasons that you stated they were to be 'avoided'..thank you.

Everybody has their own opinion and preferences concerning restaurants, but if you are going to tell people that they should avoid a restaurant the least you can do is say why. The only restaurant at Disney World that I will never go to again is Pizzafari and that is because we did not like the food; many other people do like it. I can't say as I remember poor service at any Disney restaurant, soooo, why should we avoid these places?

You know what- you are right about this. I should give the benefit of the doubt.

OP-What is it about these places that you didn't like? It's always good to know if the opinion is based on poor service, food quality or a combination of both. Do you want to be more specific?

I've been to ABC a few times and while it's not haute cuisine, it wasn't terrible either.

I've heard many negatives about Sci-Fi although it looks like fun. But it's the one place that I think I will avoid just because the reviews have been so negative.

Biergarten
Hollywood and Vine (disappointed last time, might try someplace new this time
Akershus (also liked the food pre-princess style, where, oh where is the old Akershus, sigh, sigh)

I am also curious! I can understand some places on the list may not be to someone's liking as the restaurants are diverse and the food may not be to your taste.

Citrico's ??? What went wrong there? We just ate there last week and it is as excellent as ever.

If I may ask, exactly what was wrong with Flame Tree? I see nothing but raves (except for the outdoor seating bit )

I loved the outdoor seating. We got seats all the way down by the water and while we were eating a boat of tourists on safari come by. They were staring at us with binoculars and taking pictures while we fed. I think they looked like two mice and two dogs with a couple of guides.

sci-fi dine in- disagree, I like the atmosphere, the food is just OK.

les chefs de france- disagree. I think this place is above average.

the flame tree- Absolutely the best CS place in WDW. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

hollywood and vine- average

abc comissary- agree. All CS places at MGM are bad.

akershus royal banquet hall- never been. Don't like fish.

beirgarten- average

big river grille- never been

citricos- This place gets great ratings.

food quest- average
