Why on earth would they be doing events on Easter Sunday???

Also, I don't have a paycheck yet from last event, which was the 24th of Feb. I believe!

I had a feeling maybe you did not realize it! I only knew it because my daughter turns sweet 16 the Sunday before (April 1st!) and we are celebrating at my parents Easter weekend!

I just sent an email asking if this was the intended date for this event... maybe they didn't realize either?!

UGH! Ii was supposed to work my 1st event this Saturday & got a call today that they won't be able to get me my items in time & that there currrently aren't any upcoming jobs. I was told they'll call me when something is avail in my area. I was really looking forward to starting.

I would think it's a mistake because I know ALOT of wal-marts in my area are not even open on Easter!

I was supposed to do soda @ Target- TMT. I spend alot of time in Target & I never noticed anything going on there. Since this was going to be my 1st event & I was booked yesterday I don't have anything(table or kit).

I mean did they want to talk to you about product...or did they just take coupon & product & leave quickly? Did they ask any questions - especially since that sign says "find your right fit"? I'm just really curious. lol

And how did you study up for the event? lol

momof296&02 - I’m guessing TMT did not have time to get your MC Card, apron, and hat to you by Saturday. If you were to do the Diet Dr. Pepper at Target, the kit which would include your table, was to be sent directly to the store. When you booked this “first” event, did TMT give you your user id and password? If so, you can go on to ebooking and check for events yourself. Otherwise, you may want to monitor this thread as new events are typically shared here and then call TMT yourself.

I am still owed payment from 2/17 and 2/24. They also owe me the $10 e-booking payment from my 2/4 event since they left it off of my check for that week. Did anyone get their sign in info for SPI that got that e-mail asking TMT workers if they wanted to book SPI events as well?

Just checked the payroll issue dates (TMT) for the week ending 2/11 payroll issue date is 3/2
2/18 is 3/9 and
2/25 is 3/16

Well, splash, I must say it takes a special form of training to get up for an event like this. I know coming into such an event there is a "Do or Do Not... There is no try" attitude and I feel That I am able to take on such feats. I look at each event individually and don't look towards the future ones... Each one at a time, eventually the cards will fall in the right place. Thats the canned phrases they teach you in school for PR spins... LoL

Now on to the real deal

I place many o' coupons on the shelves by the product so those too embarrased to come up to me and spot-the-bunny can take them from there. However, I do have my eye on them so they aren't unanimous after all

I have older ladies and younger ladies (teenager types oddly) that want to talk about which ones they like better. I donno, maybe its delightful good looks that draws them in... I tend to think it is more out of sympathy for me I do get a lot of "BOY I FEEL SO SORRY FOR YOU!" responses from people (including workers) and my response is, "at least I am getting paid to be in this section" I do have a sign made up (I may take a picture of it today) that drew its inpiration from the movie clerks sign that said "If you plan on shoplifting, please let us know". My sign says, "if you laugh you must buy!"

So all in all it works out alright. What I don't understand is the "off-Dates" for this event when the big ticket coupons where good only for the day it ran. But nonetheless its an extra $50 each event.

as I stated in my picture post... an event popped up for EASTER SUNDAY at walmarts near my house. I am not going to take it as its an holiday and I am not 100% sure the stores are even open on that day.... I can't remember

Thanks I had one booked for Cummings but I switched it out for one closer!!

We are not seeing any Easter Sunday events this day. I wont be working either .

ohhhh, I hope we get that here. It will give me a chance to try out the new stores near me. I've got 2 events booked at one of the stores. But nothing yet for the other store. I'm hoping for off dates though for Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls.

I treated myself to a few new shirts yesterday. Especially for the grand opening. And I ordered some more black pants. Everything on clearance of course. No more rushing to do laundry between events.

I LOVE those Kotex photos! I think that is great that you can exude such confidence selling feminine protection. Not sure on that "Spot" bunny though. Too cutesy and weird. I don't think women need a bunny, just the coupons!

LOL, B, I just noticed your 2nd photo was taken by placing camera on a shelf & using the timer. I'll need to remember that. I can't always find people who are capable of clicking a button on my camera.

I've started taking my older digital. Not only is it smaller, but I'm not as paranoid of something happening to it. Also, I don't think it intimidates people as much when I hand them a simpler looking camera. Don't know why the Canon S3 make some people scared to take a pic. ???

For those of you who do WalMart events, how often do you use a toaster oven? Kohls has a small Black & Decker for $19.99 and I have a 30% off coupon bringing it to around $14. If I should every hear back from Spi and WalMart is now in the mix, I'm thinking about getting this just incase. I guess I could always return it if nothing opens up in a couple of months.

I spent $25 for my toaster, It has made it's money back with these biscuits..

One event for Easter, but it is over an hour away from me up in Dalton Ga. It looks like it is the only one... Nope will not take that one... Easter if for family not working...

Looks like a lot of Wal Mart events lately, Not many Targets lately....
